Yeah, usually when people think about string instruments, they think of the violin or guitar.

Ahhhhh, I love the cello. Violins get all the hype (especially from non-musicians), but the cello is GORGEOUS, too.

Learn ALL the instruments! ...actually, that'd be really fun.

I might someday, but I just recently started the cello, so I'd wait a while before playing another instrument. And then there's money for lessons and renting/buying a sax. :/

You should learn! If you know clarinet, then sax will come much easier. That's why they made all of us wee younglings start out on clarinet before moving to sax.

When I was in high school, I went through a phase where I was all, "Blargh no, I wish I woulda stuck with clarinet!!" But, I love my alto sax. ^.^ I still have my clarinet, though, even though I haven't played it in years. The fingerings are the same, just different octaves, though, so I should get it out sometime...
