Ahh, I see! It's also been a dream of mine to write something in my lifetime. ^__^ I'm not sure what, but I really would love to create a written work even though my career choice doesn't have anything to do with writing.

It's kind of funny how their enemy (Angel) is this cute looking bishoujo girl. It's sort of misleading, but that isn't a bad thing.

Well, I've been able to start the show just on the Internet. I wish the quality were in 1080p like the pony episodes on my computer, but whatever. I'm just on the first episode, though. Seems entertaining.

I was able to learn a tiny bit of the Japanese language through a project I did, which all of the seniors in California have to complete in order to finish high school. They could make their own topic, so I did mine on the history of comics and making a comic book, and I learned through studying manga that "shoujo" means little girl. This usually applies to teenage girls, but it can range from toddlerhood to late teen. "Bishoujo" means pretty girl. Here's a TV tropes article that gives a better description. Alternatively, "bishonen" means pretty boy. It's just that a lot of the looks of the characters in the anime fit that bishoujo and bishonen trope.

Yeah, I'll just watch the dub. Reading all of those subtitles gets in the way of the fact that I'm actually watching something.

Also, which is better? The show in English subs or English voice actors?

Oh no, I get what you mean. Like, needless sex/fanservice in something that's not dependent on either of those things is a little jarring. I understand that.

This Angel Beats show seems like another one of those bishojo/bishonen animes. That's not a bad thing. Just saying. I saw the opening them on YouTube.
