Consider me an optimist but, I think humanity is generally good. I mean sure there are thieves, human traffickers, murderers, and terrorists, but that's only a small percentage of the world. Don't base your overall judgement of society on the worst of us. That's where generally stereotypes and prejudice comes from.

You don't have to be considered a saint to be seen as good. Just live out your normal life. "Good and Bad" has some gray area, but that's all when it comes to your particular moral values (because the concept of "Good and Bad" can be quite relative as time goes on).

I don't watch a whole lot of TV either (most of the things I watch are online when I have free time). I can certainly see myself in a future where I don't own a cable box/dish. The only reason I'd get one is for the convenience of guests at my place. Right now I don't own any consoles (crazy, I know). I haven't given up gamer perse, however I just haven't found a console/game that I'm like TAKE MY MONEY! I've just prioritized what I should spend and the time I waste I think I'm evolving into an Adult.

Eh, yes and no. There could be an alternate universe Superman that has more downplayed powers. I mean the modern day Superman has less powers than the one we saw during the Golden Age of comics.

Me too, but it just so happened that I followed more Marvel than DC. Like you said, Batman has been carrying DC all these years, and as for Marvel they have many cool characters/teams to rely on. Just the concept of mutants made it possible for Marvel to randomly create a new Superhero without any question. DC is all about aliens and laboratory accidents.

Quick question, what does "ofc" mean? "of course"? As for Superman, originally he didn't know how to fly, he would jump. "Superman" should just be a regular man but with stronger body parts. I say they shouldn't make Superman fly, have heat vision, xray vision, or arctic breath. Keep him bullet proof, but make it still hurt him (like it will leave nasty bruises/welts on his body). If you make Superman more plausible of being killed, then you really don't need a McGuffin item like Kryptonite.

Wonder Woman's outfit should have a Xena Warrior Princess look to it. Heck, since I just mentioned her, I WOULD LOVE if Lucy Lawless played as Queen Hippolyta (Diane's mother)



I'll be honest, I didn't know about Deathstroke until I saw Slade on Teen Titans. When it comes to reading comic books growing up, I was primarily a Marvel fan, however when it comes to cartoons, I was a DC fan. That's sorta what DC and Marvel have in common. DC makes great cartoons while Marvel made great movies. With Disney buying Marvel, they are trying to make a stronger appearance on TV. Now it's up to DC to make new movies. We've seen Batman and Superman, it's time to see something new. Watchmen was good (for the hardcore fans), but I personally wasn't a fan of it:/

As for Owlman, might I suggest you read the "Night of the Owls" arc? It is connected to a revamped origin story or Owlman.

Noooo! You shouldn't be worried about that at all. The better the villains, the better the hero. A hero is only as strong as the villains/problems he/she must overcome. Batman has assassins, crazy people, mafia members, and immortal people after him. Superman's rogue gallery mostly consists of aliens that want to rule the world/galaxy/universe. Boooring.

Considering J.J.Abrams is on board to direct SW7, my mind is at ease and won't try to stress/hype over the fact until I see the first full length trailer. Lucas has already destroyed his own masterpiece, so the way I see it, it can only go up from here. Disney has Pixar, Marvel, and LucasArts around their finger. We've seen what they have done with Pixar and Marvel, so I only expect the same amount of quality for LucasArts.

Very very very true (Superman takes second place though). I'm even wondering if DC/Warner Bros are honestly considering of having a Justice League movie due to the high ratings of The Avengers movie. The reason Batman is popular is because of the cartoons, memorable villains and the fact that he's human (he can die just as easily as the rest of us, something we can all relate to). Superman takes second place when it comes to memorable villains however when it comes to the movies, they are so afraid about using alien enemies (except for General Zod). From the top of my head, I can only name like 4 Wonder Woman enemies, 4 Flash enemies, and 2 Green Lantern enemies. DC has tried making Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and Green Arrow more popular by having their own tv shows (thanks to Smallville plowing the way), but only Green Arrow is sorta succeeding (well...NOT cancelled is a form of success). If I could have made a DC movie, I would want to make a Flash movie starring Ryan Reynolds (but that's sorta too late now considering he's now connected to Green Lantern), and a Wonder Woman movie starring Gina Carano. When it comes to Wonder Woman I DO NOT want a pretty actress that can fight. I want a fighter that can act. I would love a Wonder Woman movie to be the female equivalent of 300 (but with more magic). Don't try to set Themyscira in a modern day world. Heck I don't even want Diana to step out of the island. The first Wonder Woman movie should set up the seeds of her enemies (like Titana & Cheetah) for future sequels, and show how the Greek Gods are still alive today. I mean that concept isn't that farfetched. We've created movies like Percy Jackson & The Olympians, 300, Wrath of the Titans, and we have two upcoming Hercules movies. I wouldn't mind if DC tore a page out of the Marvel script by having a little teaser after the credits of the movie. Imagine after the Wonder Woman credits you see the Amazons bowing down as a man approaches the thrown of the Queen. She addresses him as Poseidon, but he's clearly Aquaman.

PS: Aquaman could also be a very interesting character. He's downplayed a lot as being weak, but really he isn't. If I could make an Aquaman movie, it would basically be Star Wars, but deep underwater. So really you can have the "realistic" Batman, the alien Superman, the ancient Grecian Amazonian, and a man who is familiar with underwater magic and advanced technology. I mean in the comic books we've accepted that aliens have better space travel technology than what we humans have accomplished. Can't the same be said for the citizens of Atlantis and their underwater inventions?

PPS: I forgot to answer this question "I wonder though, what would a Batman who no longer had qualms about killing enemies be like?". Batman has a few enemies that are a lot like him, but have no problem of killing. Deathstroke, Deadshot, Azrael, Owlman, and Catman come to mind.

Ah, well that's because I like to take time and effort into everything I say and make sure I give my full opinion. I'm into a lot of things. Drama, Action, Comedy, Sci-fi; the great thing about being diverse on what you watch/read is that you'll be more open minded to have conversations with plenty of people.

As you probably have read, I like Naruto, A Song of Ice & Fire/Game of Thrones, Batman, Mad Men, The Walking Dead, Grey's Anatomy, Downton Abbey, Scandal, Once Upon A Time, The Big Bang Theory, Whose Line Is It Anyway.
