Really, it's not that hard to put effort into your threads. I'm not asking for an essay, but anything less than a paragraph probably won't fly. Just post your thoughts on the topic; that'll probably make a paragraph right there.

First: I'm disappointed that you've decided not to continue your story. You should never write a story in the hope of attracting an audience. You should write for yourself. Write because you have a story that you want to be able to see on paper. Perhaps other criticize your work.
My opinion of your novelization is about the same as my cohorts: It is below average in every way. If you wish to take that as an insult, then give up writing right now. You won't survive the real world. But if you take it as advice and work to improve, then you are welcome in our ranks, regardless of your status as an artist.
However, my advice to you is to read. Pick up a novel and observe. Observe the descriptions, the characters, the plot, the formatting, take it all in. After you've had time to mull, come back and try and emulate that. Even if you end up mimicking a style, mimicking is the first step to developing your own.
