    Mondlicht would mean mouth light in Dutch... what kind of light would you put in your mouth?

    Canyarion is the Quenya (a Tolkien language) translation of my real name... it's hard to pronounce, but at least it's unique! And yeah, I'm a Starcraft II master and I (used to) love Tolkien. But nothing as much as Zelda I guess.

    Switzerland should be pretty, but I've never been there!

    Hey, are you Dutch? Your name is Dutch (but it doesn't make much sense).

    For Four Kings, you just have to time your rolls to go under their swings. Generally you roll to the left side of them.

    Beat Ornstein and Smough. Killed Lautrec and his pals too. Four Kings is going to be a pain. So is Nito because I know those skeletons will be one-shotting me.

    I'm at Ornstein and Smough. I left off after getting to the boss fog. I haven't played in a week.

    Also, Gwyn is fairly easy if you parry his attacks.

    SL6 Deprived run:
    * Start as deprived class
    * Don't level up
    * Beat the game

    Yeah, Dark Souls really brought me in with it's classic Zelda style game-structure with a modern twist. The multiplayer really sealed the deal. After playing Dark Souls I decided to get Demon's Souls. It was only $8.00 at the time but has since rose in price as interest in the game renewed after Dark Souls' release. I regret not having picked Demon's Souls up when it came out. Unfortunately, I listened to all the negative reviews that exclaimed how artificially difficult and tedious the game was. Oh how wrong they were.

    I love them both. Each game does something better than the other.

    What Demon's Souls did better:
    * Cohesive atmosphere between zones
    * Gear and world intricacy (gear perks, upgrade paths, tendency)
    * Co-op/invasion perks and penalties
    * Alive/dead perks and penalties

    What Dark Souls did better:
    * Gear variety
    * World map
    * Enemy variety
    * Upgrade simplicity
    * More variety in general (except for typically PvP builds you run into)

    My main character in both games is a quality build using a straight sword (Knight Sword / Sunlight Straight Sword) and a bow. I don't use magic that much. I do have some high INT and FTH builds just to get that experience in but I don't use them as much. I haven't done a pure DEX or pure STR build simply because my quality build does both.

    In Dark Souls, I'm doing an SL6 deprived run right now.

    What about you?

    So my mom decided to be a B and hid her Wii Remote (I let her use my system, cuz hers won't read discs); she got mad because I wouldn't let her use it for wii fit, lol. I'm doing a marathon here!!! so it looks like my prep is at a standstill...well, at least I'll have my own come sunday!!!

    I would like to work at a University Counseling Center; I think that period of time is such an important time in a person's development and maybe even the hardest, transitioning from adolescence into your own person. I know that's what I went through at least so I feel really strong about it. I start my Masters in January and it's a 3 year program instead of 2...which is a drag, but I'll have 5 clinical internships plus two practicums. So that's a lot of experience. I'm looking forward to it! I also want to do research. So I don't know how that plays into it all lol.

    that's probably it!!!! thank you! Big One never got it, and I really have to get it as soon as I can, bc it's one of my favorite items in all of Zelda. Do you want to go into psychology as a profession?

    Is this a decent way to prepare for it? I'm doing a weeklong playthrough starting with OoT--->TWW--->TP. That's the order they released, and maybe the order in which I like them, lol, although I do love all Zelda games (CDI don't count).

    You know, I actually don't mind. I'm not spoiling HOW TO FINISH THE GAME, just the major plot points. I haven't read in deep detail so I'm sure there are tons of things I don't understand. Mostly what I'm looking at are items and upgrades and things so I can have all that content ready as soon as the embargoes lift.

    I'm actually REALLY excited to see the story play out!
