Thanks! Glad the controls for the sword actually add something to the gameplay.

Yeah, I'll let you know what I think. I'll probably form an opinion on it by sometime in January.

Currently, I'm excited about the supposed increase in difficulty, RPG elements, and general high quality. The early reviews, the fact that it has had a lengthy development, and personal observation all support the idea that (at the very least) SS is a well made game. As far as seeming like just another Zelda, I would agree that I am surprised they are reusing certain concepts (most notably, Forest/Fire/Water --> Big Event). Obviously, I'm pretty hyped for the game, even if I've already kind of accepted it's not going to be my ideal Zelda in every way. I'm doing my best to accept it for what it is.

Man, maybe it's because I have a lot on my mind, but my excitement for SS is nearly non-existent. I don't even think I'm going to buy the game anymore. It doesn't look bad, it just looks like another Zelda.

I pretty much always agree with you when it comes to games, so let me know what you think of SS when it comes out.

I'm still excited for Skyward Sword, but I'm keeping my expectations pretty tame. I expect a solid Zelda game that will at the very least be better than the DS games. I still expect to see a lot of the little faults that have plagued the series since WW to return, like poor pacing due to out of place fetch-quests. I am impressed with how much activity is going on in Skyloft, but the actual overworld map looks pretty small assuming it's only made up of the 3 sections that are teased on the official website's map.

Arkham City has me pumped! The first game is my favorite current gen game next to DKCR.

That's a bummer. School hasn't been too bad for me this semester, though I am adjusting to my new job as a tutor.

I just watched a gameplay movie for Batman on Youtube, and it does look amazing.

I've noticed! I'm currently more excited for Batman Arkham City, which greatly overshadows my hype for SS, but I'm sure SS will be solid. What sucks is that I won't be able to play either game the day they come out because school is killing me right now.

I'm ridiculously pumped for Skyward Sword. I haven't been this excited for a game since . . . Twilight Princess.

I'll be sure to get some photos. I do still talk to them. AA is actually going to be running as well.

You gotta do it, and get a lot of photos! Do you still talk to Sizzlin and Atenenrusususus Aura?

My friends and I are going to do another half marathon in Chicago on Halloween. And we're thinking about dressing up as Super Saiyans!

That's too bad. I hate when you ban permanently miss things in games.

I'm replaying The Lost Age for the first time since 2003 (or whenever it came out). I never beat it before, but i always felt guilty owning it and never beating it while I beat the original twice. This is a loooooooong game though.

My sister got it and I've played through probably about half of it. It's still pretty fun. One thing I hate is that there are Djinn that you can permanently miss, so be aware of that (in addition, you cannot return to the first part of the game after a certain point, which I also despise). Still way too much dialogue, and parts of the game go on for too long. I never finished it, but I think that was because I started work and didn't have much time.

Thanks. It was my first one, so I had no idea what to expect. I'm really surprised I did that well. It was a very interesting experience.

Rec department. I play games with kids and go on field trips. I did it last summer too. I also coach softball at night. It's a long day and not much pay but it's better than nothing.

Well, my summer job is very active. It leaves me feeling exhausted, so I haven't been hitting the gym as much as I'd like. And less week was very stressful, so I didn't eat as well as I normally do. But in general, I find the information on that site to be very effective.
