I would just tell you to take a break, but don't step down. I think everyone at some point loses that drive, and if you take a break you won't have to be thinking of the responsibilities you may not be fulfilling, y'know?

Yeah, I've never touched Maya (well I tried the Maya5 demo when I was like 10), so I don't really know anything about it other than it's good for characters.

Yeah, no problem. If it turns out you can't get a free copy and still want one, I can get it for you, no sweat.

Word, I guess that's why the mostly have us mostly use Maya right now...and thanks for the offer! We've got a TON of labs here though and I think I can get a free copy, but I don't think my laptop could render anything without crashing @_______@

Maya is better for character modeling than Max, btw

Well they're both autodesk programs, so it really just depends on your needs and also your RAM and vRAM
Our Computer Technical Education rooms (so like 3/4 of the school) have stools instead of chairs/desks, it's so uncomfortable -____-

and I hear Max is faster than Maya, but I don't think I'll get to touch it 'till my modeling/lighting class :c

I took a class on 3d modeling, we used 3DS Max
I think I saw something where you rendered a crab in maya and then painted it? It looked cool
But yeah I totally understand being tired after all that

Modeling (in da computer not like with mah body), digital painting, rendering in graphite
mostly just today was spent hunched over a computer for 10 hours or so

This week kinda dragged on, but that's just because instead of 4 1.5 hour blocks, we had a 4 hour block and a 3 hour block. But it definitely didn't feel like a year
