I'm really sorry about your grandpa. =( I guess all you can really do is hope for the best but prepare for the worst, you know? It's good that you're in the hospital, because being by his side is the best thing you can do. =)

I kno Im kind of just jumping in the convo w/o knowing what its really about but I'll just add my 2 cents anyway.... Well I lost my dad in 2005 from cancer so I understand losing a family member completely. All I can say is that they would want you to be happy. There is a poem that says Do not cry for me because I am not there. and especially in my dads case I kno he is in a better place where he is not suffering anymore. you kno death is part of life and you will go through the grieving process and thats natural but dont focus on all the bad things. Remember the good things and hold on to those and try your best to make them proud everyday. When I think of my dad now I just see him smiling at christmas or something. and I remember all the good things he tought me. Remember them as a good thought. It just takes time to grieve but it will pass. We just poured my dads ashes into the ocean for fathers day about a week ago and that was like closure. we returned him to the earth and completed the circle of life. Life does not end with the body because the Spirit lives forever. In fact the Spirit of your Grandfather lives in your memories. So dont be sad because he is still there in your heart.

Eh, my situation is different than from your grandpa, but I understand completly dude. To me, I hate to lose a friend, but **** happens. However, she is not lost literally, that's why I have hope man.

In your case though, don't go insane from this death man. Your gpa would NOT want that.

That's anyone really, people can be misinterpeted all the time. I did that with my friend, she did that with me and we ain't talking to each other. However, it ain't gonna be like that forever, she needs a break. Girl needs to get her head together.

Also I realized what I do want to do in this world: help people out one at a time, no matter what. Believe me, I have lost a friend as of recently because of my attitude, but its her loss. Paths do diverge, but they come back to form eventually, always remember that!

Which is fine and dandy. Because if I lost someone close to me, I'd quit this place. Your loved ones matter more than anything else, pursue it!
