About what? If you post a thread asking about Linearism, you'll get the same response from other theorists that you did from me, except in a less-nice way, most likely. It's a good thing you stumbled upon me, seeing as I'm one of the more considerate theorists out there.

But if you meant that you want to start a thread about people being able to theorize whatever they want, you'll probably still get some flak from the die-hards, but I think it'd be a nice idea all-told.

Well, please hear me when I say, the split timeline was most definitely confirmed. You actually asked the right person, because I myself was third from the top in the largest linearest group on the web, the UWM (United Wise Men). Back in late '07, after the confirmation of the split, it was complete and total war around here, however the UWM lost, and was disbanded soon thereafter. It was a tragic day, indeed. Please trust me when I say there is a split. If you're curious, the confirmed timeline goes as follows:

Adult Timeline: OoT -- tWW -- PH -- ST
Child Timeline: OoT -- MM -- TP

All other game placements are complete speculation and are completely unconfirmed, however the timeline I posted is known to be true. Whether games appear before, after, or even in between those is in debate. But those games in relation to one another are set in stone, I'm afraid.

Oh... well, i actually would like some linerealism here, cause i don't the split
timeline and the fact that people use the developers words like the golden rules
and later they questionate if their actually cannon, and in the meantime they
flame linerealists

My signature is a joke, actually. If you'll notice, I included SMG (which is Super Mario Galaxy) in there, which needless to say isn't canonical. I actually used to be a linearist, though, before the split timeline was confirmed.
