Haha, right before I'm ready to go home for Christmas! X) So I'll be away from my PC for a week, but I'll be back soon enough.

All has been well for the most part. A busy and slightly chaotic month, but it hasn't been bad. We'll definitely catch up very soon!

lol! The guy in charge of us said that not every state even uses the grand jury system, but just my luck, NY is one that still does. The process is kind of unnecessary if you ask me. All we did was vote as to whether we believe the case is a "true bill" and can go to trial..and literally every case was voted through as a true bill. -___-

Thank you for your confidence in me and your prayers, I really appreciate it! I think I'm mostly nervous because it's been a long vacation and I just have to get adapted to the stress and lack of sleep again. Plus, some of the older students in pharmacy school claim "4th year is the worst", but a pharmacist where I volunteer told me not to listen to that and if I made it through 3rd year, it's going to be fine. I think some people just like to be dramatic after they've gotten through something and know someone else is about to do the same. XD

    And me too!

Yikes. No our trial had 50 people taken out of the jury pool, and then from it 13 were chosen (12 + 1 alternate). But wow... the thought of a grand jury of four weeks of service just... stuns me. X)

Nervous for school? Awww. I think it's just nerves and that, honestly, you'll do fine. I really have got a lot of faith in you that you can knock stuff out of the park. But I will definitely keep you in my prayers and hope that God gives you the fortitude to stand up to it and get ready for school.

(*is so glad to be chatting with you again!*)

Haha, lucky you! Since grand jury requires 24 people instead of 12, the chance of me getting off the jury was extremely slim..and as I predicted, I wasn't one of the lucky ones chosen to go home, lol. There were a total of 26 of us, so they could only randomly chose two names who would get to go home and be considered to have "served".

I'm really glad to hear things are going so wonderfully for you! And yeah, same for me, I can't remember the last time I've played video games.

School is starting up soon for me in a couple of weeks..I'm starting to get that nervous feeling now. :/

Yikes! My jury duty was just two days, and I didn't actually get picked to be on a given trial, so I got to go home. X) So yeah, no wonder life has been interesting for you! (Though I must admit, not having to do jury duty for another 8 years is a nice perk!)

So many of the good things have been in the love life department; I really can't complain on that note! Church has been going wonderfully, and my job has been fairly fun. And I've got to do some awesome things with friends of late. Really I don't have MUCH to complain about.

Well, other than I don't have time to play videogames much any more. XD

    lol! XD

And thanks! I'm glad, too..it was 4 weeks long because it was grand jury duty, we were constantly hearing different cases. It wasn't like regular jury duty where you have a single case. But the good thing is that because grand is longer than typical jury service, I won't be put back into the selection pool for another 8 years.

Really? That's great! What good things have been going on?

I remembered you were doing jury duty, so that's why I wasn't too worried about you just, you know, completely ditching me and leaving me to pine in misery forever. XD

Glad to hear that you're off jury duty though! Sounds like it was quite a long one!!

Though for what it's worth, my days have been pretty fantastic of late.

Hey, TML! Funny you sent this because I was just thinking how I need to reply to your messages! I recently went back to work since jury duty ended, so I've had little time online the past days..hence my negligence in replying to PMs and VMs, and posting in general. Sorry about that..and thank you! I hope you're having the same and I will reply to my messages very soon. ^__^

Hey Willow. I reckon you've been busy and all (I know how that goes), but I miss our chats. At any rate, just letting you know that I'm thinking about you and hoping that you're being blessed and having wonderful days.

It was a while ago. X) Actually it was last year about this time. It was just the crazy antics of two Zelda fanatics with a slightly mischievous side. Shame you missed it when it actually went down; a lot of the members were crazy scared that I had actually taken over the boards. (Though in fairness, we did tell the mods FIRST so they wouldn't panic. )

OMG... I think I just remembered you from HoH back in the day! I *remember* a Willow there! I seem to remember because of your signature. Maybe I'm mistaken, but it just suddenly hit me. I don't remember talking to you crazy much (because I wasn't crazy active on HoH), but for some reason you're familiar suddenly!

And I will definitely give both L and M your regards! I loved both of their websites back in the day -- Indie Zelda and HoH. In fact, at one point, the three of us had planned to have something like a three-way "site merger" way back when. XD Oh man, those were crazy days.

But I do agree. Melora has such a wonderful heart, and she's a really awesome gal. She's living a really wonderful life surrounded by animals and her husband. She's even raising chickens! And yes, personally I've always preferred the more laid back boards which are much more community driven with a really warm-hearted webmaster behind the wheel guiding everyone. (It's such a HUGE SHAME that I was never active on LP; I feel like I really missed out!)

By the by, thank you so much for the compliment about me! That's really sweet of you. (You also don't seem too bad yourself!)

L and M... they probably wouldn't come to ZU sadly. They're much more low-key individuals. You might have convinced them to go to LP, but they very much prefer to stick to their own corner of the 'Net, just like I did for a long while. X) Though then again, they know I'm here now, so maybe I'll work on them for you. If nothing else, I'll definitely say that you said hello!

(Wow, I wrote a lot. XD Enjoy!)

I think I remember that! But somehow, I feel like I may have heard about it after the fact and not actually as it was happening..or maybe it's just been so long ago it only feels that way.

And thanks for sending her my regards! Her place holds a lot of memories for me, just like LP. :) I always got the same warm feeling from her like I do from both you and Lysia, which is so important when running a community. And even more important in terms of life in general, in my opinion, because it seems to be a quality too many people lack nowadays..whenever I encounter kind people, I count it as a blessing. ^__^

Have Melora or Louisa ever considered coming to ZU?

That was the prank when Lysia was pretending that she'd be held captive by me so that I could take over Legends Place and rule with my mighty dictatorship powers. XD A lot of people were confused. It was very funny. We got to pull it off because it had been the first time the two of us had met IRL.

It must have been! I was thick with that crowd back in the day, and I actually still am. XD I actually talk to both Melora and Louisa pretty commonly today. (Melora and I almost IRL friends too; haven't met, but we call each other a bunch. Must make the 6-hour drive down to her place one of these days!) I will definitely tell her a big hello from you. (And knowing Melora, she might actually remember you from her old place!)

Actually, if you want to say hello yourself, you can always register over at History of Hyrule - Index page -- which is the starting boards for her resurrected site.

Oh what was that prank again? I remember hearing a prank mentioned, but I'm not sure if it was during my absence at LP, haha.

Then that must have been you! I remember Louisa as well. I wonder if Melora remembers me. I was 14 years old when I registered at her place, so that's a pretty long time ago. But I did talk with her quite a bit on the forums and I remembered she told me she couldn't believe I was 14 and thought I was older because of the way I spoke in my posts, lol. If you talk with her, tell her Willow says hi if she remembers me and that I never forgot her lovely forum. ^__^
