I put this, in the Internet Humor thread:
WARNING: Do not read any further. Doing so will cause vomiting, constipation, loss of eye sight, and other related conditions that have to do with people forcing their opinions on you as truth.
A Lucky Egg increases the Experience points gained in battle, after defeating a Poke'mon, by 50%.
Did you have one of those specific Power items attached to your Drapion? That would automatically give you 4 EV's to a specific stat after every battle. Though Nature may have had to do something with your Drapion getting that big of a boost....but with a nature of Bashful, that's kinda odd.
The first patch of water with a waterfall in Mt. Silver.
I got 13 Attack stat for my Drapion with Bashful nature, right after I posted that.
I've tried other places for diffirent stats like Speed, HP, etc., that give off 2 points; and the results were not the same. It was random.
Which is really weird.
SoulSilver......hmm.......If I had to guess.......Actually, I'm really not sure on this one, as there are tons of places where you can fight Seaking. Where is it?
Nah. I don't ever go to any of the Escapist Haven stuff.
I'm in the same spot that Ao Koneko was at; slaying a bunch of Seaking(which gives off 2 Attack points.
The highest number of Attack stat I got is, 8.
It's the perfect spot for raising the Attack stat.
Guess where this spot is at. ??
I understand some of it. I'm not too well versed on the full mechanics of EV & IV Training, but I get the logistics of it and how it works a little bit. For specific Pokemon, such as my Rampardos, Empoleon, Metagross, and Rapidash I've done EV training. Others, I've just trained for the hell of it all.
By the way, do you know anything about roleplaying? If you do, I have something interesting to show you.
11 Attack EV's on her Kingdra in one level up!? What MADNESS is this?!
But I kind of get it. See, every time you defeat Wild or Trainer Pokemon, your Pokemon is secretly given what are called "Effort Points" after they defeat something. They don't show up, but these Effort Points (or EV's for short) help to raise a specific stat.
Take Luxio, for example. Whenever you defeat a Luxio, it yields about 2 EV's in Attack. Every 4 EV points in a stat raises that stat by 1.
Although now that I just read that convo, Macho Brace doubles the EV yield that you get whenever you kill something. For example, if something yielded 2 EV's, now it would yield 4. Ask her what all she killed to get her Kingdra's stat that high, as I'm kinda interested in hearing this one.
EDIT: There are other items you can get like the Macho Brace that yield extra EV's in a specific stat once you kill something. Take Power Lens, for example. If anything equipped with a Power Lens killed something for specific EV's, it would add 4 EV's to Special Attack automatically. And that's all there is to that one. Macho Brace doubles every stat, however, so that's that.
I'm not talking about me, I'm talking about Ao Koneko. She got 11 attack stats in one level up with a Kingdra.
My mind = blown!
What do you think about that stat??
In Pokemon? Probably +6 Special Attack on a Honchkrow while slaying some Unown in Pokemon Diamond. Did you just get a good one?
Also, I'm sorry I haven't linked some of the article info yet, but I'm getting slammed in school, and I've had no time to read it. I'll get it to you at the end of next week when finals are over.
A Pokemon that's like a Metroid? You mean Oobemu or Rigray? I dunno, since they're the ones modeled after aliens and what not, lololololol
And the Pokemon in my Profile piccy is actually a Goruggo. Basically a Ghost/Ground Robot that can learn Fly. Pretty awesome stuff.
Oh yeah, and remind me later (because I'm in school right now), I got the latest issue of Nintendo Power in the mail and there was a HUGE writeup of Okamiden in it with tons more information. Since I know you're a fan, I figured I'd tell you about it.
The Poke'mon in your profile picture, some how reminds me of the twin devils(owls) in Okami.
AND
I finally took the time to write the name each Poke'mon I liked in ANY kind of way, from the 5th generation.
Whether it I thought it looked cool, tough, strong, cute(yup, I said it), and so on.
I was interupted while looking through the 5th generation Poke'mon so I stopped at Poke'mon #629.
