King Zora is long since dead by the events of Twilight Princess, and Twilight Princess is only 100 years later, and Aonuma said it all. King Zora helped the hero who wore green the same tunic as Twilight Princess Link, which is the Hero of Time;s tunic), lived in the Ocarina of Time days, knew about the races, and in case you didn't notice - the Master Sword wasn't there in the past, meaning it was being used by the hero from the Ocarina of Time days.

Hero's Shade teaches Link sword techniques because he knows that Link is descended from the Hero of Time. He says at one point that the only people who can learn those are Ocarina of Time Link's descendents, the same applies to him pulling the Master Sword - shared bloodline.

The Temple of Time, in Hylian, mentions something about the Hero of Time on the walls, saying something about the Master Sword: only those who share the same bloodline as the Hero of Time can pull the Master Sword on the child timeline, or something like that.

Note: he travels back to the Ocarina of Time days, and the Master Sword isn't there in the past. But you obviously didn't notice. It was being used in the Ocarina of Time days, the the temple mentions the hero 'known as the Hero of Time'.

Rutela says King Zora from Ocarina of Time helped the hero, the hero left behind the Terminan Hero's Bow, he was chosen by the gods, he wore the green tunic, he is refered to as Hero of Time in the Temple of Time past. Hero's Shade says they're blood relatives.

I haven't read much into PH's connection to AoL, so I have no idea if what you suggest is credible.

Whilst I haven't spent the time plotting out my own timeline to the minutest detail, It seems likely to me that the Four Swords series follows after Wind Waker on the Adult Timeline for a number of reasons, some of which you've mention, but also things like ge0graphy and the history presented in Four Swords and Four Swords Adventures.

However, whilst I do beleive in the connection, I don't think that the Triumph Forks is strong enough proof; Whilst yes, It was a nod to Wind Waker, it's canon status is suspect.

The races you mentioned seem less than conclusive also; simply being similar is not proof that they are one in the same or even connected in any way.

Another thing to note- you have to raise land and lower water level on Cobble Kingdom. That made me strangely suspicious about raising the land and decreasing sea level, as the World of the Ocean King seems to appear as the top-right large island in The Adventure of Link- except, unflooded and the islands connect.
