Do you have any donations from anyone? Like are you getting money from people or even supplies? For my project, I was donated $100 worth of lumber, and was able to get it all professionally cut for free. School technically starts on Monday for me. I'm attending Missouri State University (previously Southwest Missouri State). Me and my parents researched and found that it was the best school for a bachelor's degree in computer science. I'm hoping to become a video game programmer, and was looking at Nintendo as a possible future employer, but they seem to never need programmers

It's all right that you haven't replied til now. W00t! Your project was approved by the park services. Now it's up to council to approve it. Do you feel pretty good about it, or are you having your doubts that it will pass? Good luck at your water polo tournament! Tomorrow I get to drive for three hours to get to my college, and then I get a stressful day of unpacking it all. But good luck to you!

Hi, I was just reading the ZU's Morality thread and I found it sad how you were the only conservative I could find. I'm really really really conservative and most of my views lined up with yours. Do you know of any other conservatives here? Because you're like the only one I find looking through the Serious discussion threads.

Sorry for the late reply. Nine scouts. That's just unbelievable for me. And no matter how much they say it, it's always scoutmaster led. Because without scoutmasters, I don't think we'd be going anywhere at all. Wow, is there anyone actually designated to take care of that cemetery? If not, that's kind of sad. How much longer do you have to finish everything up?

What are you doing for your project? I made moveable cubbies for a day camp at a local park. It was to secure the children's belongings, because originally, all the stuff was thrown around. Hopefully you don't have any of those 3-month long merit badges left. It took me forever to finish those, longer than three months. Our venture crew does sea base, but our troop itself only does northern tier and philmont. How big is your troop? Ours currently has around 60 active scouts out of 145 scouts total. We are being yelled at for stealing from another troop, even though we do no advertising, and the weblos scouts just like how our troop runs things.

Oh right. I keep forgetting that this is the hundreth year of scouting. There was a special camp called ScoutQuest that was done to honor this year, and the day before everyone was going to come, they found a woman who had been left for dead in the campground area. Talk about freaky.

High Adventure is pretty fun. I've been on three myself. Twice to Canada, and once to Colorado. Canada is pretty nice and serene, but can be dangerous when storms pick up, and you are out in the middle of a lake, paddling your arms to death to get to land. Colorado was pretty awesome being able to climb a 14,000 ft mountain. If you can, definitely go on a high adventure trip, they are pretty awesome.

I made it to Eagle on April 7th, the day after my 18th birthday. But it's okay, I still made it, because after I got all the stuff turned in, I had 3 months to set up an Eagle Board, and that's when the soonest one was. What rank are you?

Yeah, that's true. However, I believe that if you put your full faith and devotion to Jesus Christ, then you will love others as people, and you will do good deeds in His name. Our church's high school ministry went out and repaired flood damaged homes, ones that had been completely inundated. And it brought a lot of them closer to God and Jesus.

I'm a boy scout, but am about to not be registered anymore since I'm 18. I have until this year is finished, then I won't be in the scout registry. I thought the national jamboree was held every other year? Didn't they have one already? Sounds like a lot of fun though. Did you go to the World Scout Jamboree? I didn't have time to, but I heard it was amazing.

Hmm, well that's where you and me differ I suppose. I believe that we were created in God's image, and not from any species that was already present. I also believe in a young earth and all that. I'm a creationist, and believe what the Bible says is truth. But, luckily, that stuff isn't what saves us. What saves us is our faith and devotion to the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Even if you completely disagree with the bible, all it takes is still faith in Jesus, and believing he was His only son who died for us.

Anyways, how have you been? How was camp?

That's all right. I think I worded the initial question wrong. I too believe in evolution, a bit. But what I meant was do you believe we are the result of evolution? Or do you believe in the Biblical creation account? I won't accept that we are the product of evolution. It's just not happening. By this time, current species of apes should have evolved to our mental capacitance, and thus be human. But we have not seen that happen. So I can't accept that we came from apes, or monkeys, or any other animal. I mean, we see evolution of germs and viruses, and of course any evolution is spurred on by God. But I just can't accept that we came from some other animal.
