I just had brillant idea! Okay so here it is:

So a long time before the roleplay takes place there were 8 countries each based on a certain element of magic. You couldn't even do anything without magic helping you somehow depending on the element. However, the countries eventually merged together and magic started to become less and less used until finally it was forgotten. Everyone thought that all the magic was gone, but every 100 years, two people are born with magic powers from each element. These people are called... (insert good name for these people here). They aren't treated very well and most of the time people try to kill them. So most of them stay in hiding. The elements are fire, water, wind, thunder(lightning), light, dark(that includes shadow), earth, nature(like control over plants and animals).

Also, there can only be two people from each element which means once it's filled up no one else can be that element.
