The Minish call anyone from the Hylian world (earth) human and descibe it to any non-Minish race in general of the Hylian world. The characaters themselves all have pointed ears, which means they're all Hylian.

Them calling them humans doesn't mean they're not Hylian; Hylian is the culture and pointed-ear people, but human is the race in general.

It is no different to how and British guy and and American are both human. The Gorons, Wind Tribe, ect., are all called humans by the Minish, but they're different races. As w ehole, Gorons, Wind Tribe, and Hylians are alol human.

To the Minish: non-minish = human. The characaters all have pointed Hylian ears and the Hlian culture and lore, too.

I go with the River Zora and say they're the descendents of Tetra's pirate crew and so on because they went to find the new Hyrule and they were all Hylian, meaning the descendents would be Hylian, too. Saying they're human would contradict the founding of new Hyrule, anyway... :/

And then in The Legend of Zelda, Hyrule is watery and islands and there isn't a Master Sword!

Spin-off or not... it doesn't change the fact that it has generally the same major developers, and that clearly shows what their timeline intention is. I mean, would they really show the islands expanding into the Four Swords Advetnures (and in turn, Hyrule seen in nearly every 2d game) for no reason at all? Nope.

The spino-offs with Tingle do fall into continuity. They could have had given it any setting, but of all things, post-flood Hyrule that shows expanding islands into the Four Swords Advetnures Hyrule and it referneces the events of the Oracles and featured one of the same races (Subrosians).

TV spin-offs are canon, and so are game ones. Just becase it doesn't feature Link or the Zelda formula doesn't change the fact that it has references and connections that were put their on damn purpose. Some of the same developers and writers, at that.

And I believe that when we see the larger, more connected islands in the Tingle spin-off, I believe the name the name Death Mountain came back and the mountain got much bigger, explanining how the name would around for post-flood Hyrule.

Smerthio's comparions of the post-flood Tingle map with larger islands compared to the 2d Zelda maps added up, too: where Lon Lon Meadows was in the tingle game is is right where Lon Lon Ranch and the meadows are in Four Swords Advetnures. And then the Deku Tree in the Tingle game (right where he is in The Wind Waker) was to the left of Lon Lon Meadows, mimicing how there was a dead tree dungeon to the left of where Lon Lon ranch/meadows would be during The Legend of Zelda.

Suspicious, isn't it? I think the creators know what they're doing because it all seems to add up when you look at it.

Did you notice something about the FPTRR overworld? It's clearly set in post-flood Hyrule, and it shows the islands bigger and more connected than they were in The Wind Waker.

It shows the islands now in a more geographic form that looks like Hyrule seen in Four Sword/Advetnures slowly forming from the islands. And in Phantom Hourglass, set in the post-flood world, Force Gems from Four Swords/Advetnures appear, In Tetra's Trackers, another post-flood game, references are made to the Four Sword Links.

Am I the only guy who finds this damn suspicious? The Hyrule Castle in Four Swords Advetnures, as seen in the artwork, is exactly the same as the Hyrule Castle seen in the post-flood world.
