I compose too. When it comes to art, I find music to be the most powerful and pure. I've composed with guitars and bass and drums with a little band... but mostly I work with synthetic sounds... I wish I could have a real orchestra, but all I have is cheep MIDI.

So you play everything by ear? Have you ever wanted to learn a bit of theory? Or would you feel that would harm the "purity" of emotion put in it?
