I agree. He is one of the kindest characters in the book. Now I want to read Dunk & Egg, just so I can possibly understand his character a little bit more.
Yes, Sam seems to be getting a whole lot of coincidences crossing his path. All we need him to do now is cross paths with Rickon lol. He is becoming more brave...I would have to say that it is because of the seaward trip, his relationship with Gilly, and the dire responsibility Jon bestowed upon him. Ah yes, the Braavosi guy. Once the word of dragons have lifted the air, it's hard to keep that secret down.
There have been a few chapters I wasn't all that interested in reading. Primarily the Ironborn, Dorne, and Davos chapters bore me. I'm sorry, I think you've mentioned how much you like Davos, but I just find them boring.
Alayne Stone > Sansa Stark. She is learning, and from one of the best players (as creepy as he is). Since Jon was able to learn how to warg by himself, I hope the same for Alayne, even if it was something as simple as a bird. Or maybe she just has too much Tully blood running through her for that to happen...
