err, well, as I understand what enlightenment is, it's a state of mind one achieves (typically through meditation) and isn't necessarily something that you feel every moment of every day for the rest of your life. If you were in constant enlightenment, you've reached Nirvana.

Unless I'm wrong, of course.

Speaking of, have you achieved it yet? As I understand it, one can just randomly achieve it during any meditation, as it just comes to you.
