Having one large pauldron and one small pauldron was awesome in Morrowind, I miss it. Having left and right gauntlets was cool too. But yeah, battlemages are awesome (I was a Nightblade in Oblivion) but it leaves your character a little watered down because you're never excellent at either magic or melee.

I've never done straight mage because I always love upgrading my armor and weapons. How is it?

very little. like, all I know is GLaDOS lives on and you go through another thing and she tries to kill you. Also, it's a hundred or so years in the future.

i think it's more than that. remember how you could receive tons of damage from the drones that shoot you, back away for a bit, and go back in? You bleed, but you could only do that with some sort of regenerator.

I'm not sure what I want to start off as. I might just do what I did with my favorite Oblivion character and do a Dunmer with a combat/magic hybrid class. Let's hope restoration isn't underpowered as **** this time around.

Yeah, I wish there were more random, awesome occurrences like that in Oblivion. I got my fingers crossed for Skyrim, hoping it rains more Bosmer.

quite enjoyable. The last two or three puzzles were a total ***** though. got kinda scary when you started finding the places with "help" and "the cake is a lie" and all written all over. It would've been cool if some more of those horror elements were implemented.

The first time I saw that happen it scared my balls off. I immediately paused the game and hyperventilated to get my nerves back. I thought some deranged subhuman monster was going to come at me flailing his arms around like windmills.

I kept rescuing slaves with hopes of being rewarded for it somehow. But you didn't get anything.

Like many things in Morrowind though, that was just one of those details they put in that doesn't really add anything gameplay-wise, but adds depth. Like thrown weapons and stuff like that.
