It's like Final Fantasy but you can actually run around. You attack with A and use Techs (such as magic or special skills) with the B button, and you can set different Techs to different directions based on what direction you're pressing the Control Stick in when you press the B button. The running around though is locked in place by a left-right plane, but you can jump over your enemies and block and such.

And of course, it's not turn-based ^ ^" Completely real-time battle system. I love it <3
