What you said was pretty cut and dry. I'm just thinking you've had to repeat yourself because not everyone wanted to agree with you, which is understandable. I think the SW happening between LoZ/AoL and ALttP isn't a bad idea at all. I'm just now trying to work out in my head how that all might have played out.
