How exactly does ALttP go inconsistat with LoZ?

Nope that's impossible. The legend of the subrosians happened on mount Desma which we know used to be death mountain. In OoT which we know goes before the split the mountain is death mountain.

Ergo if you take FPTRRL as Canon you're screwed.

Yes however, LoZ/AoL obviosly come before OoX and they make references such as maze island to coming on the adult timeline. Furthermore, FPTRRL without a doubt comes on the adult timeline and it explains the origins of the subrosians, hense by default OoX must come on the adult timeline.

Furthermore if you want an explenation for Twinrova:

    1. She says she'll come back to haunt you.
    2. Capcom is renouned for their cameo apearances.

OoX goes on the CT, due to Twinrova being alive.
Baised. If you don't mind I'd like to debate this with you. Yes or no?

I see A Link to the Past as a LONG time after Twilight Princess: the Hylaisn are few in numbers, lots of humans, the elders descibe the Master Sword in the gorve as being there for a long time after a previous hero left it there, or something like that. They call it 'ancient'. The manual refers to the Temple of Time ruins when talking about the Master Sword, too.

n the credits, Link and Zelda are seen without their respective Trifroce pieces, I believe. The last thing Twilight Princess shows is a a statue of all the three Trifroce pieces together, too, interestingly.

But in the end, there are a lot of contradiction for the adult timeline placment of A Link to the Past. In developer intent, why did they get rid of the Master Sword on the adult timeline, and then they left it in a forest grove on the child timeline?

Also- when Link pulls the sword from ts place in Twilight Princess, the forest begins to lighten and the dullness goes. When Link pulls the sword in A Link to the Past, the exact same thing happens. In the official artowork for the Master Sword in the games- almost idential artowork.

There is no way the Master Sword would survive the flood because it has been conformed that at least a century passed until the new Hyrule. Also- everyone forgot about the Master Sword. In Phantom Hourglass, it shows the adult timeline taking a path with different swords. In others words- the developers got rid of it on the adult timeline.

The forests that the Master Sword is held in during Twilight Princess and A Link to the Past are the same: grove, ruins, you get lost there, they're big, and vauge light shines through their trees.

The Wind Waker was to mark a point where elements of old Hyrule were lost (the Master Sword and Hyrule itself were lost, for example). Link and Tetra left it all behind the find a new land and new begining, so... I think you can paint the picture: nothing much is left of old Hyrule on the adult timeline, aside from the Trifroce surviving. Everything else was lost.

On the adult timeline, the Trifroce, I believe, the three pieces dissapear all in different directions. On the child timeline, Power is left without a host and Link and Zelda don't appear have their pieces in the credits. Yet, at the end, the very last thing of Twilight Princess, we see a big, gold statue of all three pieces together and the Goddess around them (the Goddess therefore seem to reprisent the Sacred Realm and have thre three pieces between them).

    By the way...

The Master Sword in Twilight Princess - child timeline:

The Master Sword in A Link to the Past - you have this on a different timeline!

After The Wind Waker, the Master Sword was lost and buried benath the raging sea, which could be there forever, for all we know. In A Link to the Past, however- it's in the exact same forest as from Twilight Princess with light shining upon it. The characaters in the game say that the sword is ancient and has been there for goodness knows how long, a huge reference to when it was left there in Twilight Princess for years until it would be needed again.

In The Legend of Zelda and The Advetnure of Link, where's the Master Sword gone? On my timeline, it's literally gone. The flood got rid of it.

Twilight Princess and Phantom Hourglass are the latest games, but they go the other way round on what your timeline says: Twilight Princess of the child timeline hugely connects and foreshadows A Link to the Past, and Phantom Hourglass of the adult timeline makes very strong connection to The Advetnure of Link, also featuring a sword that isn't the Master Sword, which was lost. Phantom Hourglass was in part The Advetnure of Link's overworld, had the Maze Island, Sage graves as a connection to the Sage towns in The Adventure of Link. The Wind Waker also made a connection to The Legend of Zelda.

Aonuma also said last year that the towns in The Advenutre of Link are named so after characaters who became famous in Ocarina of Time's adult timeline.

[quote]What are the connections between ALttP and TP?[/b]

    Master Sword grove
    Temple of Time ruins
    Knight's Line Quotes
    Hyrule Castle sewers
    Clothing Style
    Ect..

The way characaters begin to dress in Twilight Princess is exactly how they already dress in A Link to the Past. In Twilight Princess, the Hylians begin decreasing and humans become more common, Hylians have almost dissapeared by the events of A Link to the Past and humans have become very common. The knight's line quote made to Link in A Link to the Past minics quotes made to Link in Twilight Princess. On the adult timeline, the Master Sword was lost seemingly forever and it was left in a forest grove on the child timeline with ruins. Where was it in A Link to the Past? Forest grove, and the Temple of Time ruins were referneced/mentioned in the manual for A Link to the Past.

In The Legend of Zelda, however... no Master Sword, not even one mentioning ot it and Hyrule has water everywhere. What happens on the adult timeline? The Master Sword is lost, and Hyrule is covered in water and slowly unfloods (as seen in The Advetnure of Link).
