Usually even people who don't believe in deities still will say that religion is a way to solve things in life that can't be understood.
And churches don't (or at least shouldn't) push anything. A church is just a place to worship God with other believers because Jesus said that when a group of believers put their faith together for God, anything is possible. Of course this is not to be taken wrong. If it is toward God, obviously it can only be something of God's will/doing.

The problem that I see with this is not what gives us the morals, but also what keeps us moral. It is so much easier to forsake morality. And most things usually do need reason because without reason, people are not likely to see it in the way of whoever is dictating the way without reason. I don't know how old you are, but I'll bet at some point you asked your parents "why". Why, because it's human to want to know things.

I'm well. Pretty happy recently, actualy. Though I've hit some writers block on my story recenty. Kinda sucks, but I'll get rhough it.
