I stated that there is no real way to respond to that, but by doing so I responded that. Hence it is a contradictory statement. However, there are few if not no other ways to respond to your statement ("Yeah I know" is not considered here), so unless another path can be followed, one must accept that there is no coherent and logical way to respond to your statement.
