His stuff is not particularly difficult- but it's SO amazing.

Though Prelude and Rootbeer Rag are like impossible. You wouldn't see him as a pianist- he has such short stubby fingers, but he's pretty excellent. Not the best, but really, really good.

And his writing is so amazing.

Piano Man is so disappointing to me these days. Great song and all but I've heard it a hundred times too many. He just has about a hundred better songs, and yet everyone all likes that one.

My favorite of his is Tomorrow is Today. Then probably Until the Night. 52nd street was SO good. I think his best album is Cold Spring Harbor, obviously, and my second favorite is probably Streetlife Serenade.

The tickets did cost quite the pretty penny. I do think it's worth it though to see my second favorite musician ever play on stage. Should be fun!

I..uh...haven't heard that one. I mostly listen to his really obscure earlier work and some his later obscure work.
