Yeah, I'm just making a point. The fact that I didn't hear about it hardly implies that we lack NFL coverage up here. That's just being ignorant. Yes, it's probably more publicized down there than it is here, but that doesn't mean we don't have various sports news agencies reporting on stuff like that. Also, I'm extremely passionate about my sports, 'nuff said.

Yep, I'll probably watch that game too. Should be an interesting match-up. I believe the Vikings beat them last time, correct? Although I can't remember what the point differential was.

All I'm saying is that the whole "Favre vs. his old team" subplot created a media frenzy, with the result that if you had watched ESPN at some point during the week, it wouldn't be unlikely that you'd have heard of it. You can expect to see it this week too. 6-1 Vikings vs. 4-2 Packers, Favre's first game back at Lambeau field. It's kind of a big deal.

Hm, for a country that has other priorities in the sports world, the replays from the Vikings loss sure were all over our sports networks. It's amazing, really. I could have sworn we only focused on hockey and curling. You know, our top priorities. Maybe we'll even get to watch the Super Bowl this year .

I've been too busy studying to focus on anything besides school and the start of the NHL season haha. Although I'm sure it got it's fair share of publicity on TSN.

Very true. San Francisco and New Orleans are also off to good starts in the NFC.

They're playing the Packers tomorrow. I thought you'd know that. There has been a media frenzy about Favre playing his old team. But I know Canada has different priorities.

I'm not at all sure about my super bowl pick right now. I suppose the Giants and Colts are the easiest picks at the moment, but that could change a lot in a couple of weeks.

If anything, those are gimmy games . Who are they playing tomorrow? I'm not going to lie, Favre is doing way better than I thought he would. I have to give him credit, he's upping the ante. Very true. It makes the experience more memorable. Who do you think is going to take the Superbowl? I realize it's a little early to speculate, but the question still stands hah.

I'm excited, but it's still too early to tell if they're any good. 3-0 is not a big deal when two of your wins came against Detroit and Cleveland. It looks like San Fransisco is much improved, so that win may end up being more impressive than I originally thought. Of course their game tomorrow is huge. If nothing else, with the best player in the NFL and the Favre storyline, they are a fun team. And from the standpoint of a fan, that is the most important thing.

You must be pretty happy about your football team, eh?

I don't enjoy cheering for another that much. If another team I like wins, then I'll be happy for them. If the Canucks win, then I'll go streaking through the city. Haha my friend likes the Packers. My buds and I always root for the team they're playing, just because we don't like the Packers that much. I cheered for the Giants when they played the Packers hah. Good times.

Manu is an awesome name ha. Can't say I've kept up with him though. My knowledge on NBA players is severely lacking. When I do play, I play forward or center. In the coaches game this year I played forward. It was a lot of fu

I think I'm too stubborn and close-minded to root for another team. I still have preferences of course, but there's no emotion behind them. The only exception is for the Packers. I get emotional rooting against them since they're the big rivals and I have to hear about it every time they do well.

I actually dislike Manu Ginobli since he's burned the Lakers on many occasions, but his style of play reminds me of my own more than anyone else. Yao has gotten much better than I thought he would. I'd say he's the second best center in the league at this point (Dwight Howard being the first).
