    Oh, okay.

The suburbs of Madison are super nice (Fitchburg, Sun Prarie etc.). I would actually love to live in one of them.

But I understand if you want to live somewhere bigger.

Well, I live in a suburb - didn't mean to say that the city is one. The city is nice enough to live in but small enough for me to want something more. It's just a...well, midwest city.

Oh, that's cool. I live in Madison now, actually. It's a nice enough place but I am a teenager and therefore obviously I want to get out of this town or whatever. I think a bigger city would be more fitting for me than a suburb.

Golden Sun was one of my first GBA games. I actually ended up selling it, then rebuying it again. I still listen to the soundtrack all the time. It would be nice to have one for 3DS.

I just recently rebought a GameCube with a Gameboy Player. I can't believe I sold this thing, but I had to afford a Wii and Twilight Princess somehow! I need to get Zero Mission. I played my friend's copy, but I still need to beat it. From what I played, I really liked it. Fusion is great, too.

I used to love Golden Sun. I've beaten it two or three times, but I always give up on The Lost Age. And every time I try to get back into Lost Age, I completely forgot where in the story I am, so I have to start a new game, but I don't want to start a new game without linking it up with the original, so I need to do that, but when I pop in the original game, I figure I may as well just replay that game, so by the time I finish it and get to The Lost Age again, I'm tired of Golden Sun in general.

It's a vicious cycle. Golden Sun: The Lost Age is one of those games that I always feel bad about not completing, especially since I still have the player's guide, so there is no excuse. :/ Wait! I still have a bookmark in the guide! Maybe I can pick up from there?

GBA was a solid system even if it mostly consisted of SNES ports. I wasn't a big fan of DS, but 3DS seems is really shaping up. I need an XL! I need the bigger screens and longer battery life! Also, the buttons are a lot better on the XL, especially the Start/Select/home buttons.

I'm sure Nintendo will add some surprises to the overworld, especially if the Dark World isn't returning.

Yeah, Super Metroid did a really good job with its overworld. I loved the references to Metroid 1's overworld, and it gave the first game's world more depth because now you know what's on the other side and on the surface of Zebes. I really hope ALttP 2 does something like that, but who knows.

For Mario Kart, we are gonna need to find more people. I can try to revive the Mario Kart 7 thread. It was fun playing with those guys. Otherwise, it would be 1 on 1, and yeah, that's boring.

That's a pretty crazy deal! Mario 3D Land is such a good game. I like it even more than the Galaxy games.

Luigi's Mansion looks pretty good, but I'm gonna buy Fire Emblem: Awakening before that. BTW, my friendcode is 4425-1965-3961. We should play Mario Kart 7 some time!

You got your 3DS XL for $150? Shoot, I wish took advantage of that deal while it was still on. I'm gonna upgrade my 3DS, but I should probably wait for another deal like that.

I'm not super happy about Nintendo reusing the same overworld, but at least they picked the best one (in my opinion) if that is that case. I always appreciated how there were multiple ways to enter the forest, multiple bodies of water, and one of the best mountain regions in a Zelda (Death Mountain is practically a mini-dungeon if you explore every nook and cranny). Maybe since Nintendo is going back to it, they'll see what made ALttP's overworld so great. Same goes for everything else in ALttP.

I'm guessing this game started off as a straight up 3D remake of A Link to the Past, but they got more ambitious as they went on (like what happened with Ura Zelda to Majora's Mask). I think it would be really effective to put up this front that the overworld is the exact same, then completely throw off the player when we find out that Lake Hylia now has an underwater Zora City, or the Lost Woods now leads to a completely new area not seen in ALttP.

BTW, have you played the Oracle games? I know you weren't a fan of Link's Awakening ( ), and the Oracle games run on the same engine. I like them, but I'll always have a soft spot for Link's Awakening. Hey, since this is the same Link from those games, maybe we'll see returning content from those games? Maybe.

Considering how you can use the merging ability on the overworld, I'm sure they'll be new areas to reach. I'm hoping for whole new regions (like a snow region), but I'm not banking on it.

After watching this 9 minute preview of ALttP2, I'm a believer.

Oh, and watch this if you wanna hear the glorious music. It's the light world dungeon theme and boss theme from ALttP, but in higher quality midi, and some added parts to the songs. I love it, dude!
