I hope that those days off were great! How'd Christmas go?

I've been really lazy lately. Though I did hang out with some people last night, but other than that I've been a hermit. I need to change my lifestyle haha.

Pretty good. Got almost all of my Christmas shopping done, but there's still a few more things I gotta do. My place of work has given me both Christmas Eve and Christmas off, which officially makes this the first full weekend I've had off in my year and a half of employment there.

Mhm, it's looking very promising. And the animation is fantastic! I'm still kind of annoyed that they haven't announced the premiere yet, but I suppose they need more time to make that kind of statement.

Dude, foaming mouth guy was like one of the best parts of that show. Hands down though, favorite moment of the whole series? Sokka's haiku-off in the Tales of Ba Sing Se.

Well, at the very least, people could somehow begin watching the original show because the movie causes them to wonder: "the original show can't be THIS bad!" Later that day, after watching episode 1 + 2, they turn into foaming mouth guy, and thus the Avatar fanbase grows ever stronger.

Indeed, neither did I. I was not going to spend money on what I figured would be a POS, and it turns out I was right. You know, the whole character race thing wouldn't have been so bothersome if they'd picked actors that were actually good for their parts, but since they didn't do that, yes that made the whole production all the more irksome. I think the thing that bothered me most though (and the moment I realized just how awful the movie was), was when the relationship between Yue and Sokka (you know, the relationship that the entire emotional impact of the climax hinged upon) was relegated to a single line of dialogue: "And they became fast friends." Seriously, are we supposed to care about that kind of ♡♡♡♡ when they didn't even take the time to develop the characters? I couldn't believe it when I heard that.

Well, I don't mean just Ganon, though that certainly would be a very big disappointment. Not a game killer though. The game killer for me would be if it just follows the pattern of all of the other games. If it's another clone of OoT, then I don't think I ever want to play another Zelda, to be quite honest. I'm tired of going into these things expecting new and fun experiences, only to be treated to the nearly same one, just slightly tweaked, and if it happens again, then I'm not going to be financially supporting stale and uncreative games.

Oh I know, but I never spent a dime on it thankfully because I hated it from the beginning. What's worse is that I just thought the race change was a studio decision. Now it's become apparent to me that it's completely Shyamalan's fault due to his need to "make it his own." Sigh, that stupid ♡♡♡♡, he'll never make a movie again (I hope).

Well, judging by all of the amazing changes they're putting in (such as 1:1 everything, upgradable items/weapons, new style of overworld, flight, WW-esque exploration in the skies that doesn't take 20 minutes to get from island to island [lol], etc.) I think SS will be quite an awesome game! I would be dissapointed by Ganny making a surprise visit, but it won't kill my love for the series. I understand what you mean though, man.

Yeah, I've read that and am pretty excited. Dark skinned isn't terribly uncommon nor is tall, though true enough not usually as a main character. It's the muscly bit that's very interesting. It should be quite interesting to see how it fares to the original show. I've no doubt that it'll b amazing though. Speaking of Avatar, did you ever see the Shyamalan live action movie of it? Cause if you haven't, my reccomendation is: don't. It was terrible.

I know what you mean about the fanboy thing. I try not to be it, and I try to be rational, but sometimes I just can't help it. My fanboyism for Nintendo just comes out and does stupid stuff. Although this whole Zelda debacle still has me very much on the fence. If Skyward Sword involves serious f***ery, I'm done. And am I the only one that finds it a little BS that Miyamoto has basically been the reason that all of the recent games have been OoT clones, which in turn has driven away some fans, and is now saying that if this one doesn't so well it'll be the last?

You know what the best thing about Korra is? The main character is extremely unconventional for televison. A muscly, tall, and dark skinned woman. How often do you get that in a kids show, let alone as the main character? It's so awesome!

Indeed. The Wii U does look pretty damn cool. I love the idea of a screen in the controller, especially if it means (and it seems this is the case) you don't have to have it hooked up to a television to play the thing. That would be SO freaking sweet.

I have heard about this and am SO excited for the new show. I don't know why they're just calling it Legend of Korra. It seems like the "Avatar" tag was, I don't know, almost meant to cross over into other shows. I sort of assumed that any show could be called Avatar, and the subtitle would tell you more about it. Bleh, that's just me nitpicking though. I cannot wait for it to start airing. And the first season of Spectacular Spider-Man should be on Netflix, but you may have to consult YouTube for the second season.

Truth be told, I didn't really have that kind of money either, I'm just a terribly impulsive person (especially with money) and have no self control. Which is in stark contrast to the dogged conservatism that I play most video games with when it comes to funds and supplies. I am a frugal SOB in video games, but cannot seem to extract that trait into real life. FML.

If the game is advertised as Ganon(dorf), then it's fine, it's this whole supplanting really great villains *cough*Zant*cough* with the whole "pawn of Ganon" thing that's getting old. And while we're talking about great cartoons, you absolutely must watch Avatar: The Last Airbender (if you haven't already, most people have seen at least bits and pieces of it), and a little less known one, the Spectacular Spider-Man. Seriously, AWESOME show!

No, I never actually got into the multiplayer aspect of Minecraft, which must sound odd, cause I know that's what most people use it for. But now that I'm back joining an internet community, and they seem to have a rather active sect of Minecraft, I think it's about time I start joining up.

And yeah, Oot3D has that weird feeling. It's definitely the same game, but WOW graphical improvement. Especially cause I was not expecting it. The trailers and preview honestly didn't look like that much of an update, but holy sh** was it! And this is the first 3D game I had for the system as well, and I was impressed at how good the autostereoscopy worked. I was kind of getting antsy about the fact that I had purchased a $250 system... until I got this. Now I'm quite pleased with it.
