Yeah, it's been kind of slow going, but we've got a date set for December 5th for our next demo. Should be pretty awesome.

I know exactly what you mean about unfinished games. I've got to finish ST for sure, and I'd like to finish my most recent runthrough of TP (been trying to get myself back in a Zelda mood, in preparation for SS). Plus I've still got a couple of other non-Zelda entities that will likely be abandoned for several months come November 20th.

Nice to hear that you're having time to catch your breath. Being busy is great and all, but some breathing room is definitely a requirement every now and then.

Been telling several people how busy life's been but that I'm catching my breath at the moment and all's good. Definitely looking forward to SS and am starting to freak out about all my unfinished games-- I feel they'll be ditched forever if I don't finish them off before SS.

And yes, I am crazy excited. Which is good, cause Zelda hasn't really managed to capture my attention since TP. I'll probably be one of those cooks hanging around Wal-Mart t 11:30 waiting for them to display the game and get my copy.

Heh, I know what you mean by pivotal moment then. Very similar thing happened to me. Was working an alright paying job (above minimum wage, which at the time was a major win) away from home, living with some friends, and trying to actually start my life on my own. Then I lost said job and, well, am living back with my parents until the end of the summer. So I definitely understand hard times. My condolences, friend.

Meh, pivotal moment may be a bit of an overstatement. I finally got to face hard times, so I'm all about efficiency right now which pretty much means I had to let go of a small business and got to move back home. Pretty exciting for me, though.

Film sounds awesome, BTW. I never got a chance to take anything related to film and once had to drop this screenwriting course. Would love to get into film myself-- I've got a redone camera on my wishlist.

Just for lols, I guess. It's very unrevised and... well, pretty much written casually. I've had this idea of "New Age" since some time ago, and I just started to write what I was thinking. Every time I think about it, though, I like it more and more. What I have in mind now is very different from what I initially wrote or thought about, though a lot will stay the same. Oh, well. I'll be around, take care .

I would certainly accept such an invitation, were it extended.

I want to get back into fan fiction myself. Since I joined ZU I've had this notion of a modern or futuristic LoZ fiction. I've gotten a lot of ideas lately and really feel like I should invest some free time on re-rewriting it and have it stable. I have also wanted to express in comic or manga format, and I think I've found a way to make this work fast and efficiently. When I have something ready, I'd like to invite you to read some of it and see what you think.

Things are going alright.

I am still trying to update that fiction. I've got another chapter I'm working on right now that was supposed to go up sometime last week, but moving into a house kind of got in the way of me writing it. I hope to have it up sometime this week.

As for other works, no I'm not working an any other fan fictions. I've got a few original ideas in my head that I've been meaning to put to paper though, so maybe those will make their way on here eventually.

Glad to hear you're doing alright As for me, nothing much. Finished last semester successfully, plan to take on graduate school next fall, and pretty much hanging out here at ZU for a bit while I'm at my hometown. Let me see... Oh, yeah: got banned for a week for betting that new LoZ Wii content would be shown and then lost (I thought it was an unfair result, but it's long story anyway). Also, you totally missed the Design a Boss contest which turned out to be a pretty big deal-- you would've made an awesome entry.
Nothing much beyond that But, yeah, I am going to stop by your fan fiction threads and will continue to support them. I'm still looking forward to the OoT retelling as well.

It's going pretty good. I'd been gone from ZU for a while, but popped back into existence around a month ago.

Got moved into a new apartment about two months ago, so that's been fun. I've been trying to work on my OoT Retelling for the past month or so, but it wasn't going so well. Had serious writer's block. Ended up writing an original short story (it's posted on ZU if you want to read it, called Traffic Lights) to see if it could get me out of my slump and I hope to get working on the retelling again soon. I also started a new music thread for the new music I've been writing.

Anyways, that's mostly what I've been up to. How've you been?

My good sir, I have been away from ZU for a while, but I have now returned. And to commemorate my return, I have posted a new chapter of the Ocarina of Time Retelling, if you would like to take a look at that. I remember that you expressed some interest back when I was working on it regularly, which I fully intend to start doing again.

Too much has been up, I fear. Between work, friends, girlfriend, online friends, ZU, writing the fanfic, writing music, Zelda theorizing, trying to fit video games in there somewhere, and sleeping, my life has been pretty hectic lately, and not much more than work, friends, girlfriend, a bit of music, and sleep actually get done.

I've been trying to find time to actually be a regular poster here again, as well as start my fanfic back up, but we'll see how that goes over the next week or so. So yeah, anyways, I'll try my hardest to get the next chapter of that fic up soon, but I make no promises.

Also, I would definitely be interested in Brawling you at some point. Once again, I just have to find the time for it.
