Sha. It's a goal I've been working on for the past few years, but only recently have I really committed to applying myself. Life has been tending to tell me otherwise, but at least I'm progressing.

If it weren't for the ZU Video Game Project, I might have been done with it by now.

Sha. FF taught me how to write, for the most part, and is a great proving ground. I'm sure I'll come back to it someday, now it's just a matter of when and how can I shove off something of my own. That's the dream: quit the day job and write full-time.

Nice. Your OoT Retelling always one of the better ones out there; would be pretty awesome to have a re-retelling. I still occasionally get that twitch, in that I want to revert back to fan fiction (Triforce of Shadow was seriously one of my favorite things to write ever) but I really want to make writing into a profession for myself -- can't do it if I don't do the work first.

Well, I retired myself from fan fiction this spring to focus on originals, primarily my novels. I finished my first full-length (just shy of 150k words) last summer -- decided it wasn't quite up to publication par, for multiple reasons -- but am now working on a science fiction outing with intent to sell. I'm at 170/3-400 pages, so it's coming along nicely. I'm also a poetry dump whore, in case you ever browse the writing section here.

Meh, pivotal moment may be a bit of an overstatement. I finally got to face hard times, so I'm all about efficiency right now which pretty much means I had to let go of a small business and got to move back home. Pretty exciting for me, though.

Film sounds awesome, BTW. I never got a chance to take anything related to film and once had to drop this screenwriting course. Would love to get into film myself-- I've got a redone camera on my wishlist.

Oh I know, but I never spent a dime on it thankfully because I hated it from the beginning. What's worse is that I just thought the race change was a studio decision. Now it's become apparent to me that it's completely Shyamalan's fault due to his need to "make it his own." Sigh, that stupid ♡♡♡♡, he'll never make a movie again (I hope).

Well, judging by all of the amazing changes they're putting in (such as 1:1 everything, upgradable items/weapons, new style of overworld, flight, WW-esque exploration in the skies that doesn't take 20 minutes to get from island to island [lol], etc.) I think SS will be quite an awesome game! I would be dissapointed by Ganny making a surprise visit, but it won't kill my love for the series. I understand what you mean though, man.

You know what the best thing about Korra is? The main character is extremely unconventional for televison. A muscly, tall, and dark skinned woman. How often do you get that in a kids show, let alone as the main character? It's so awesome!

Indeed, it is quite an amazing vehicle for stories. Oh and yes indeed I love A: TLA. Did you know that there will be a new, darker series coming next year? It has an amazing voice cast so far! And I'll have to look for that Spiderman show. It's probably on Netflix or something.

Yeah, they're even making a replica of OoT Hyrule in it. You'd be a good addition to their team.

Me too, though the piss poor presentation was mostly a technical difficulty. There was interference between the Wii and the Wiimote, thus Shiggy's failure. But yeah, things look wonderful, and the new villain better not be superseded by Ganon. Ghirahim is too fabulous to have an upstart like Ganny take his throne.

Basically this whole My Little Pony thing is a new kids program from the wife of one of the guys who worked on the old Cartoon Cartoon shows. The humor is very good, the characters are complex, and it teaches great lessons for kids. The irony of it all is the show's biggest audience are Males 18-24, according to youtube. It's very strange. The appeal is very hard to describe. I'm actually kind of frightened that I watch it every now and then. What's happening to me?!

And yes Minecraft is amazing. I haven't played it in a while either, are you on the ZU server? 'Cause I'm not (yet).

It just wasn't going anywhere in my head, and looking back on it where it could have gone was very dumb. I probably could have reshaped it, but I wanted to do something that didn't rely on Zelda games. What I'm working on now kind of reminds me of Anastasia meets Dresden Codak meets The Meek meets Final Fantasy IV/IX so far. I'm liking it a lot at the moment, I just need to get my mojo back in order to get it going.

YAY! I look forward to reading that, buddy. And I played OoT3D the other day at my friend's house. It's so strange, because feels like the same game but it isn't at the same time.

It's a good thing, because at first almost everyone was complaining about the graphics, which was really annoying. And now everyone loves it thanks to the new trailer :p SO MUCH HYPE!

I dunno, I haven't been too active socially on here. Cody and Jason have been having fake (?) webmaster rivalries, but that's all that I know that's significant. Oh and everyone loves Minecraft and My Little Pony, the latter of which is surprisingly good. It reminds me of Cartoon Network's golden age. I mostly go here for vidja game news (that's intentionally misspelled) and reading Serious Discussion these days. I also gave up on that Fanfic I was writing, but recently I've been cooking up something nice. I don't know how to describe it, but what's important is that I have started it Have you dusted off your OoT Retelling?
