Yea, Firefox is crazy when I'm on a page full of Zelda terms, I might make a list of "LoZ words to add to Firefox" ZW page eventually. I guess the 'errors' I noticed were less of errors and more of ZW naming standards such as Photo Shop instead of photo shop. I'll keep you posted if I run across any real ones again.

I've got a few snags bugging me on 100% runs, I can't beat the Goron Dancing to save my life. I've yet to catch a Stowfish and I'm closing in on 100 fish. On the bright side, the LADX run is pretty much wrapped up.

Which brings me to another thing a 'missable' chest on Tal Tal Mt. Range, far east side. A cave with somewhere between 5-8 chests in a room all blocked by rocks. I got rupees in all of them but couldn't open the last one. I left the room to reset the puzzle and the chest was already opened grrrrr. If you find out what was in it let me know.

    (My turn to double post!)

Also, in case you were curious, this project was the brainchild of my own frustration of playing through a 100% TP run a few weeks ago. Last time I'd missed an Ooccoo letter, so this time I told myself to just use her in every dungeon to be sure I got both. Only much later--when I'd already reached City in the Sky--did I learn that you CAN'T use Ooccoo in the Forest Temple to get that extra letter. After that, I was like, "Dammit! Someone needs to write a guide for this ****." And so, the guide was born. :3

That, and another 100% run was killed in OoT a few years ago by the infamous Deku Nut upgrade. *head-desk*

    Whoa crap, spelling errors!

That's actually something I'm super anal about. Thanks for the heads-up about "Mable" Village (I corrected it). I did a thorough search but couldn't find any others. Could you give me a list of the spelling errors you've found?

Now if you're just going by what you see in a Firefox browser, a lot of words will have red lines underneath them because they're not in the dictionary--words that are specific to gaming ("missable," "completionist," etc.) but that are still spelled correctly, as well as proper names (Midna, Biggoron, Gregal, etc.). Other than that, I couldn't find any genuine spelling errors.

And I'll be sure to drop by the wiki article for this soon! Thanks!

Double posting the convo xD. Don't ban me tho.

I got the page started http://www.zeldawiki.org/Permanently_Missable_Items You can click the tab "Discussion" and follow any discussion on the article and "History" to check up on updates.

There are quite a bit of spelling errors in your post if you care about that sorta thing (Mable Village instead of Mabe Village, etc) To fit ZW standards I had to cut out location of lists and some of the notes in the post. I'll probably have to trim the TLoZ section later. Basically I wanted to lay the groundwork and make it clear to other ZWers that a copy/paste job mostly won't hold there.

Awesome, I'll get started on the page before I log out today. The good thing about ZW is that everyone can go add to it.

The reason I've been so interested in the topic is bc I've been working on creating 100% completion guides ranking things by how likely missed they are. This is the brainchild of my Kinstone Fusion headaches. And it's way too frustrating for a gamer to go through the entire locations list. Come have a look http://hyliantestaments.webs.com/linksawakening.htm
It's just getting started as a site but I've got a good feeling about it.

Hey there! Just wanted to give you a heads-up that my missable items thread has now been converted into a full guide and stickied. You're more than welcome to still leave input if you think of anything else that should go in there!

Also, feel free to put this on Zelda Wiki if you'd like as well. I'm hoping to also submit it as a GameFAQs guide as well.
