I would do, but it's more about the power of the church than any real issues with supposed morality. I do remember them (Catholic Priests) stating that abortion is worse than raping a child, though (which isn't surprising considering the amount sexual abuse commited by such priests). I don't want to further derail the thread atm, but I'll definitely comment further tomorrow morning! Doggamn it, I hate it when people ignore such epic posts (although you know you've won when they can't/won't answer back). I do think that implies a considerable degree of cognitive dissonance though. Still, let's make the jury wait a little longer, could be he's still gathering his thoughts and trying to answer without sounding like a total misogynist.

He ignored my last one, he may just ignore this one. That's the trouble with arguing with someone's moral outrage. Their emotions won't allow them to think any further because my suggestions are "unthinkable" - not in that they're wrong, but in that they'll lead to a guilt trip on their part if they consider them for even a moment.

It is that good, you're smacking down his debates and crushing them with sheer, brutal logic (although as you said, it's not that hard considering the dribble he's saying). I'm eagerly anticipating his next post to see how he responds, because each and every point you made is absolutely correct.
