My beliefs are more along the lines of cynicism and I would prefer to see less of a government and more of a cooperative "working together" sort of thing. Breaking down of the hierarchy and working together to live peacefully and cooperatively.

But unless I joined a Buddhist temple in Tibet, or got a couple friends to live on a deserted island with me, I doubt I'll ever have my ideal life.

Exactly. It's not like you ran in there saying GOD SAYS PRIVACY IS BAD or something, it's actually something I can think about and compare to my own beliefs.

The privacy thing is a bit iffy for sure. Personally I'd like to see what a well-run socialist state would be like, but I'm not getting my hopes up in seeing that in my lifetime.
