the bigger the better really, for basses at least. don't listen to anyone trying to sell you some sweet ampeg(ferrari) amp if it's only 15 watt. if you can get a behringer(hyundai) 100 watt or more amp, that's all you really need.

I doubt you'll be lugging that ♥♥♥♥ around on tour or playing huge gigs with it, so ♥♥♥♥ the quality of the amp and ♥♥♥♥, you just want something that has a beefier sound than a puppy being sat on.
