"Remember Zelda: Spirit Tracks"...uuuhhhh, what does Spirit Tracks have to do with Alcohol? Now of course the "Honey Pot" cannon, well you could relate that towards sex, but I don't see where you're going with this.

Oh! And if you want to try a very simple drink (when you're old enough) it's called the Screwdriver. Technically it's just vodka and orange juice, but my family prefers using rum instead of vodka.

Yes, I remember you telling me that about alcohol. Well between beer and wine, wine is certainly the "better" option for you. And for some people, it might take years to find out a specific brand that is just perfect for you (because everybody has a different tongue, and so their tastes are different. You might like something with a light flavor and sweet). When you're old enough, go to a Bar & Grill, most of those restaurants have something called a "sampler", where they give you a shot of a few beers. For a novice drinker, this is a great way to see what you like from an option of 4-6 samples. Of course, even if you don't like them, that doesn't mean you won't like beer entirely, that just means that your favorite wasn't there.

The "problem" with margaritas and those fruity drinks is that the concoction is usually soo sweet that the alcohol can easily be "hidden" in the drink. You'd think you're drinking a thicker Fruit Punch Gatorade, but there's alcohol in there, believe me. Now I can understand the OCD aspect of it (I don't have it myself, but I can imagine it), but as long as you're responsible about drinking (like you are with everything else in life) then there won't be a problem.

Take eating for example. You can eat a snack, eat one serving of everything on your plate, or eat until you're completely full. You know your body more than anyone, so you know when you're done and you don't need to eat anymore. When it comes to drinking, it's the same thing. Although it may be a new concept to you, you'll quickly have to learn when to stop. My best advice is to start off with 1-2 drinks and stop (maybe do this when you're in the safety of your own home...and when you're of legal age of course!). Observe how do you feel, talk, walk, your vision, your balance, and your own reflects. I ask you to do this in the safety of your own home, because if you test yourself in the middle of the party, it might seem a bit awkward (and you might get some strange unwanted attention). If you have ANY questions regarding alcohol, feel free to come to me at any time.

Never drink and drive...or fly...or swim! Oh god, never drink and swim! Why don't they warn people that?lol

Well things rarely work out how we want them to due to complications. And for the record, I don't have a girlfriend (I think you misunderstood something). In my previous VM I was comparing two aspects of being single: single and enjoying it, & single and searching for the next girl.

Things are going "eh"...part of me doesn't want to be single, and the other part wants a flock of hotties knocking down my door.

Did you have a nice V-day? Are you single? If you are, Ihope you made today focusing on yourself. Make it a personal "Me Day", and pamper yourself a bit.

I'll try not to be rude and just burst onto your profile, so allow me to introduce myself. I'm Vynrah.

I didn't want to merely request this in the thread without actually contributing anything, but in the Religion discussion in SD, I really must say that I am quite curious as to why you choose or feel the Bible should be taken literally rather than figuratively as Tonch had asked earlier.

This is more a personal curiosity than anything else, please forgive my intrusion and nice to meet you.

Flan is a custard dessert dish that mainly consumes of sugar, eggs, condensed milk, evaporated milk, and a tiny bit of vanilla extract for flavor. It's a very sweet dessert.

I've never been ****-faced drunk either, I've been buzzed, but that's it. I'm a pretty big guy, I've learned that I can take quite a lot before feeling anything. Now I don't want to turn you into an alcoholic (because alcohol isn't important in anybody's life), however there are many different types of beer and wine out there. Maybe you prefer a Lite Beer with less Hops and has a hint of a blueberry flavor. Or maybe you prefer the cheap Pink wine (which I prefer), red wine, or white. Who knows, maybe it was simply because you sipped the wine and it was too warm. I prefer my wine to be chilled. I've heard that it's only customary to chill white wine, however it's my house, my rules Then there's champagne...personally I don't have a taste for it (I'll take a sip for New Year's and Weddings, but that's basically it) but you may be different.

So I'll make sure to have you as a designated driver if I'm ever in town

My New Year's Eve went very well. I spent some time the day prior with some extended family members and then I made my way back to Boston to celebrate the New Year's with my family. We ate, chatted, and only drank a half a cup of champagne each when the ball dropped. Everybody in my family took a nap prior to celebrating at Midnight, so I was the only one that truly stayed up

As for Christmas we traditionally eat things that are a little bit different compared to some other U.S. homes (we're Dominicans), we had Pork, a small turkey, pastelitos (which is very similar to Crab Rangoon, just replace the crab with beef...hehe I guess no animal on the farm was safe from our dinner table) Morro (which is a rice/bean dish), avocado, squash, green beans, and for dessert my mother made flan (very delicious!).

Ah yes, Sparkling Cider. Even to this day I love the stuff. And the insanity is that it only comes around this time of year. You're 18, right? Although you're technically still "too young", I don't think ONE glass under the supervision of your parents (for the tradition that is New Year's) is going to hurt your liver.

It seems that our families are similar (just replace "junk food" with "Christmas Dinner Part II" and we're basically the same). It's usually surrounded around watching New Year specials on TV, calling up friends and family, eating a large dinner, and drink 'till we can't count backwards anymore (j/k).

Do you have any plans for New Year's? Different families have different traditions, so I've just been curious and have been asking around town.
