Exactly. Well, I guess you could say that the overall story is episodic, with its own arcs. The first book is the first arc. There are also side stories which will help influence events later in the main series.

I recently finished the rough draft to this story with ghosts, fictional biochemistry, and high school (sort of). This story is unusual in that the main character doesn't even have special powers, like most characters in my stories. He is very talented though.
