Not too shabby. I'm in the middle of an extensive rewrite, so I'm busy for sure - dropped about 100 pages. It was a hard decision to make, but the story will benefit greatly. My writing has improved so much since I wrote those bits, mostly due to Evil's Bane, and I now have a keener understanding of what's important, what's intriguing, and what makes a story successful. I still have a long way to go for my personal development and skill, but it's on the way.

I do have a social group that I created for critique and input. My goal, lofty as it may be, is publication. I've steeled myself for it, and am ready to put myself out front to be judged. This group will be the very driving force that gets the job done - I can't do it alone. The format is I send out chapters through PM, just as a precautionary measure, one at a time, and the readers are more than welcome to bash the crap out of it either within the social group or through return PMs. It's not a super active group, save a couple of members, but at least I'm getting some support - drives me to keep going.

I wasn't sure at first, as change is always something that I struggle with, but it's grown on me. I'll just be happy when the formatting issues are fixed.

I need to get you that bit of writing I did. Its all on my moms old computer and I cant seem to upload it to a computer and I cant type it all up at school because people will unplug the computer or steal/tear up the hard copy I have. Yeah I have a horrible school.

Work before play; such a sad existence we lead, isn't it? If I could work full time as a writer, I would feel as if I were playing all the time, though I'm not sure if it would cheapen the effect or not. I suppose being barely able to write sparingly makes it more special, in the end.

That's like asking a street musician if you could have them put a song on a CD for you so you could hear it again. Go ahead, make a hard copy. I have no problem whatsoever with it. If this were a piece that I was going to submit for publication, then I might have some concerns. For this one, though, it's as free as sunlight
