For free that's pretty cool. MGMT's first album was good I reckon, but they just dropped the ball on the second. I like Dillinger Escape Plan and I need to set by some more time for them.

I want to go to Coachella. Heard nobody cared about The Stone Roses though. They're awful live without a crowd louder than they are.

Yeah I've heard that the packaging was shoddy. I'd be really irritated.

I've always been worried about tinnitus, particularly as some of my friends have it and I'm thinking if I'll be next. Two weeks ago I was at a local venue and sat right next to the big ol' noisebox which make my right ear feel really numb actually. I went outside eventually and felt uncoordinated. I don't want to harm my hearing any.

Yeah I'm a big fan of all their stuff. The new album 'mbv' is also brilliant, maybe a little less effective than Loveless, and the works before Loveless are top quality also. I'd like to go to a live show ... I've read accounts of people leaving the venue halfway through the gig due to the sheer loudness of the band. Apparently you're offered earplugs before the set to make it bearable.

Sounds cathartic. Or ♥♥♥♥ing visceral even.

Don, Aman seems to be the most coherent song so it's largely what I'm basing my interpretation on so far. But yeah, I'm getting similar vibes from it. It's eerie and introspective.

Talking of classics - Loveless. Ugh yes.

I'm still trying to work out what's it all about. It's an incredible album, really hitting me in the right places.

Woop, sorry, I disappeared for a bit. Got tickets to see Everything Everything in January and they are a very cool band who I'd recommend keeping an eye on before they get big stateside.

Just started driving not too long ago. Was wondering if you could suggest any radio stations I might like in the Cleveland area?

Some people give mixed reactions because their setlists are KOL heavy, but that doesn't bother me too much. I like bands who have artistic visions and pursue them rather than wheel out the same setlist back-to-back every tour with minor additions.

I like him quite a lot.

Nice one. I never worked out gig etiquette when it came to shirts because I was told never to wear a band shirt, although my mate wore a Flaming Lips shirt to a gig recently and Justin Pierre seemed to like it. I don''t think that most people care and I was probably just given MALIGNANT ADVICE.

Missed an opportunity to go see Radiohead tonight and didn't get Glastonbury tickets, so I'm not in luck lately.

For ATDI, I like Catacombs the most because they mix it up with The Smiths at their live shows. The chorus is really similar to the chorus in That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore. Intimate gigs are great, though I'm rubbish at speaking to the bands afterwards, but I always take the opportunity regardless. Frank Turner is probably the nicest dude I've chatted to.

Django Django, Sharon Van Etten, Band of Horses, At The Drive-In and Superchunk are all the musicians I've listened to today. I might be getting my hands on some tickets to see The Cribs too which is pretty nice. I saw that Sleigh Bells were one of your guilty pleasures and I'm in agreement with you on that, though I listen to some proper ♥♥♥♥ sometimes.
