I'm taking a break from gaming; I would like to finish Star Ocean 1.

I've only played FF3 (the DS remake, and I didn't finish), FF7, FF8, FF9, FF10, FF10-2, FF11 (a little), FF12 (never finished).

So I don't really have a lot of experience with the job classes.

I like mages (black and white); but thief is cool, too.

I'd say you are reaching the 33% completion mark, I guess. There's still quite a bit of plot to go through, but it's really good plot.

As for the items, you should have them if you've been completing the dungeon maps.

I have a feeling I don't have a lot of those items. I'll put it on now and see what I have.

Also, how far into the game am I, then?
