Appreciate the comments Ed. Thanks man. Yeah I'm not trying to simply get ZU'er of week or anything, I like the idea and all, if I get it great, if not no harm taken kinda deal. Just simply trying to be more active on here, offer my words of wisdom when I can.
I will have to catch you early and just tell you if we're ready for that skype session. Next year sounds like it'll be really awesome for you. We'll have to talk all about your plans for that.
And I wouldn't even hesitate to tell you how cool of a bro you are here in the forums. I think you've always been a key person in a lot of the boards, get along with everybody. I seriously doubt I'm the only one who thinks the same. But it's true that you've been a lot more prominent, especially with the new threads in the GCC. Actually, I already foresee person of the week for you--not even kidding.
We have to skype about all this. Can't wait! (:
I'd like to Skype with you to, and I know we keep saying this, but lets actually skype some time, it would be nice for a change. Yeah, we just had our "reading week" a while ago, and as much as it is for catching up to do and get ahead in classes, I felt organized with myself so I literally took the week off and relaxed, did a little bit of reading here and there, but didn't drown myself in it. I'm getting adjusted to the university life, but starting next year I will be going full-boat, full course loads, so it will be a different change of pace but it will be good.
No harm in trying new things, picking up new habits, getting rid of old ones. I'm all for change and trying new things, even though from time to time I fall into those same patterns, but in a sense it feels nice have structure in our lives so to speak. Yeah I've been trying to be a little more active here on the site instead of being just the "lurker who post random funny things". Hell, I've been here since '07 over 6 years now I feel like I should do a little more and make myself well-known a bit here on the boards. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if you were the only one who's been following me on this site since I joined and what not.
And yes, the Sport/Health/Physical Activity thread. Hasn't been quite active recently, trying to put a little life into it, but it's always the same people in there. I've taking a huge liking/interest in physical and mental health, living a healthy lifestyle so I thought I'd share my insight with people on here who think a like, and hoping I can help people along side reach their goals and aspirations.
Hey Brett! It has been a while. Actually, I've been thinking about how nice it'd be if you logged into skype when I'm there-- that'd be all kinds of cool. But yeah, I've been doing alright. On my spring break right now, actually. Catching up with schoolwork and working a few hours. I'm glancing at our old convos and wow, it sounds like I'm just repeating myself here! xD I really need to reinvent myself and get into a different pattern. But yeah, I can't complain.
You? I've been admiring your threads on the GCC. I think I was telling Alberto about how it'd be cool to have a sort of workout routine/progress thread and then saw yours. I seriously to contribute to it one of these days. (:
Oh man, bartending. See, that's been like my dream part-time job for years now. I only get to play bartender when I have friends or family come over-- I'm all pretentious with cocktails and swear I make the best gin and tonic. But you're an actual bartender so NICE! And nice to hear you want to start fresh next Fall, go back to school and all. Yeah, definitely go easy on the loans. I've been resisting those, though this upcoming year should be my last, and I want a killer art portfolio by the spring-- that ♥♥♥♥ needs money. I think for the first time, I'll see how much I can borrow.
BTW, Brett I've been gradually adding more people on Skype (I'm still kinda new to this). I'm sharing my handle: Septemtriones. Give me yours, I'll add you, etc. We should get in there!
I've been doing alright! Got a new bartending job been working lots. Wasn't in school last semester, but I'm going back in the fall. Going back part time and taking psychology courses. I still want to work and save money, so I can stay ahead. I'm really hoping I don't have to take out student loans, or take minimal loans as possible.
Looking forward to going back to school actually. First time going back to school in about 3 years or so haha. It's about time I start from somewhere again.
Yeah I've been going hulk on ♥♥♥♥ lately, so I can relate there. But I've been doing alright! Usually when a semester ends, there's all this cleanup to do. Like, I leave a lot of stuff unattended throughout the semester and then just need to get it together when I get out, so I'm doing that now.
You? You must be on summer break right now, too. Kicked ass this semester?
Breh, sounds awesome. Being productive during the break totally beats deciding on not doing much and drinking a sixpack every other night. I swore it would just help me chill, get ready for the rest of the semester (had my break last week). Yeah, didn't work. This week I've outdone myself getting projects in-- wasn't that big of deal, but you get exhausted quick after a whole week of not doing much.
going to the gym
This is it. Been hearing it from a whole load of people, but this is like my chance to commit, bro. I need to go lift and spend some time there. We should share routines or something, mang. Just really want to work out again, take leaps, etc.
Yep we're in our spring break week right now, although it feels all the same to me really (just working full-time). Surprisingly we are still getting little periods of snowfall every now and then, but not enough for it to stick, however; past couple days have been pretty nice. Sunny and somewhat warm.
I'm doing well. Just enjoying my days on and off work, making the best of both worlds really. A side from that all is well. Hanging out with friends having nerd nights lolol, going to the gym, and just planning ahead for goals and what not.
