Healthcare. Conservatives disagree, saying that the government has no constitutional right to control the affairs of citizens. Liberals don't care, and are ready to amend if they need to.
We (conservatives) do recognize the need to make amendments when necessary. Liberals tend to amend whenever the constitution gets in their way. At least, that is my observation.
They are my definitions. Remember I said that earlier. I said that it is what I interpret conservatism to be, not what it necessarily is, absolutely. How can you give an idea an absolute definition?
I define a conservative as one whose political view are such that the government should conform to and conserve the constitution, but my views do not limit what it is (I believe it was with you I discussed absolute truth).
