I'm definitely going to get to those books as soon as I can get to the library! Thanks for the suggestions.

    Anything new with you lately?

Thanks for the birthday wishes--as well as that useful stat about the bloke whose name I won't even try to pronounce correctly.

And going back to your October VM...hmmm, what to recommend? I think the best place to start in the Star Wars EU is the Thrawn Trilogy (Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, The Last Command). I also recommend the X-Wing series and the Jedi Academy Trilogy, as well as I, Jedi. And then I most highly recommend (after those) The New Jedi Order series. At 19 books, the NJO series is pretty daunting, but it's pretty damn worth it--well, as long as you're prepared for at least two main characters dying (not saying who, though!).

    Happy birthday Rew!

As a fun fact, you share your birthday with Vlast Plavucha, forward for hockey's Team Slovakia 1998.

Rew! It's nice hearing from you again!

I thought you might be interested to know that I got accepted to SCAD! They also informed me that they'll be giving me a $10,000 scholarship to go there for my academics! I'm so incredibly excited. ^_^

Psh, hundreds of books? I have a lifetime, that will be no problem...over time. Now, thousands of books may be a bit more of a challenge...Are there any that you'd recommend especially to look into?

Hey Veege!! I've been out of action for quite a while, haven't I? And yes, I like this name change. ;3

*looks at your other comment from September*
Yes, you should read the novels! Well, some of them--there are literally hundreds. Reading them all would be a daunting task.

Well, I must admit that it does help that most of my friends graduated last year or are at different schools, so it's easy to stay focused.

Y'know, as much as I like Star Wars, I've never read the novels. I should probably get around to that sometime, you and one of my other friends seem to enjoy them.

(Hey, I see you've met my friend, Pelagias. =D)

I'm glad to hear that school is going so well for you! As nerdy as I am now, I wasn't quite that way in high school--I was a slacker. It looks like you'll be able to avoid many of the problems I had back then.

I've been doing a lot of novel reading nowadays, but it's Star Wars novels--not the kind of stuff you'd read in school.

Don't worry about the whole adoption thing, I know you have a life to attend to.

Yeah, I always forget that I secretly enjoy having a daily routine (aside from the whole 6 o'clock wake up time). School is a huge motivator for me. I'm really enjoying my Sociology class and my Law and Justice class. There's a lot of opinion-based discussion in the latter, and I find it really enjoyable. Plus, I'm back in an art class which is really boosting my productivity both in and out of school. I've also started reading again, something I usually stop doing for whatever reason when I have no routine. I'm plowing through American Lion right now, because nothing could be more interesting than reading about the life of the president who beat his own attempted-assassin with his cane (aka Andrew Jackson).

    In short: I'm a nerd.

    VeeGee!!! =D

Yes, sorry I've been out of touch these past couple weeks--I've been a bad adopter. :<

So previously you were dreading school, but now you're enjoying it. I'm glad for the turnaround! Truth be told, there's a part of me that misses school too (well, college and grad school, not so much high school); I plan to go back one of these days. What are you learning?

Anyway, you should post more in Farore! Come to think of it, so should I! D=
