Oh god, I also sucked at TMNT on NES (especially that swimming part where you weren't allowed to touch the purple plants). The Arcade game was fun as heck! Man, I've played so many hours on that (my opinion, this is what should have been the first game). Looking through the TMNT games of wikipedia, I've never heard, nor have I ever played "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan" for the GB. Turtles in Time was the next game I played (again, this should have been the second TMNT game). And to be very honest, I haven't played any other TMNT game since then (but I still watched the cartoons).

Speaking of TMNT, remember I told you about that straight to DVD movie they are coming out with? Well it's going to be on TV first (then on DVD), and youtube has it's very first clip of it but I lost it

I remember the name Polly Pocket, but I don't think I had any of those. As for the action figures, I don't remember the exact ones I had (except that I did have all four of the Ninja Turtles themselves).

I sucked balls at TMNT on NES (its release last year on VC confirmed that I still suck at it), but I was pretty good at TMNT II: The Arcade Game, beating it with a fair degree of ease. Those were the good ol' days.

I was an avid collector too. I had (of course) the original TMNT cartoon version of the turtles, splinter, shredder, april, bebop, and rocksteady (but I never had Krang). Then I also had the TMNT 3 movie versions of Leonardo and (my favorite toy) Donatello that could change from baby turtle to Ninja Turtle. Do you remember that girls toy "Polly Pocket" (where the figures were like the size of a grain of rice?) I had a Ninja Turtles Secret Hideout that took the form of a giant turtle and you could play with the mini-ninja turtles and it came with shredder, mikey, donatello, and splinter I think.

Donatello was always my favorite Ninja Turtle, at least in the game on NES, since his bo had the longest reach and did the most damage. Raphael was pure fail in that game, by contrast.

I only ever watched the old '90s cartoon (and first movie), none of the newer stuff. And I was an avid collector of the toys! I had most of the action figures and even the Turtle Wagon. Sadly, I never did get that Technodrome.

And thanks for the birthday pancakes!

I couldn't agree more. I used to dress up as Donatello as a kid for Halloween (hence it's my new Halloween Siggy this year). It seems like TMNT is trying to get more popularity again considering they brought back the TV show (pretty good show), they made a movie, game based off of the movie, a SSB rip-off game, a remake of the arcade game, an upcoming DS game, an upcoming straight-to-DVD movie (which will feature the 1980's Turtles), and an upcoming CGI TV show. It's good to be a turtle fan. The 80's were pretty strange when it comes to cartoons. It's like ok, we've got these turtles, and they can fight. And we've got these chimpmunks, and they can sing!

    BTW, Happy Be-lated Birthday.

I'm sorry, but when I read that I just thought about the lyrics to Eiffel 65's song "Blue":

"Blue his house with a blue little window
    And a blue corvette
And everything is blue for him and hisself
    And everybody around
Cos he ain't got nobody to listen to

I'm blue da ba dee da ba die...

I have a blue house with a blue window.
Blue is the colour of all that I wear.
Blue are the streets and all the trees are too.
I have a girlfriend and she is so blue.
Blue are the people here that walk around,
Blue like my corvette, it's standing outside.
Blue are the words I say and what I think.
Blue are the feelings that live inside me"
