There are 1,879 Kanji taught in Japanese schools, from 1st grade through high school. These are called Joyo Kanji. There are many thousands more Kanji than those, though. As a matter of fact, it's known that there are some 30,000, maybe 50,000, Kanji out there, but nobody knows exactly how many there are. Just that there are tens of thousands of them. That's why they only teach Joyo Kanji in schools.

On my spare time, I like learning songs, practicing visual and musical art skills, and reading manga. Specifically Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. I also hang around
ZU, and I hang out with friends. I also learn Kanji.
