So I watched Legend. I am fully convinced this is how the movie was created:

Producer: Mr. Scott, do you think you could make a movie with Tom Cruise's bare legs and ten truckloads of glitter?

Ridley Scott: HELL YES!

I've been coming up with zelda movies ideas on and off over the years, but I've been in full swing for some time now, finally coming up with a story, theme, and character development that satisfies me and what I'd want in a Zelda movie.

Obviously, you and me don't want to flaunt some of our best ideas for the whole internet to steal, but good luck with however your trilogy goes.

and just out of sheer curiousity, how long have you been devising ideas for a zelda movie? I've seen some of your posts and you really seem to have damn good ideas(Like locations, character development, etc).

Except he dies. Which was a pity, seeing as him and pretty much every other character was much more likable than the hero.

It was an okay movie overall, though not as good as Willow. Now it's on to Legend!
