I had to go on ZU before the wedding. (Needed to test out my new laptop, right? =P)
And when I got off, I pulled a chicken out of the mailbox, watched Hitchhiker's Guide, and played Smash Brothers. Then got married. =D And it was beautiful!
Yes, we're tying the knot in September. It's lost its value to me, though, because my mom's taken over the whole affair and it's not really what I want. I feel like I can't invite many friends at all, and those I do invite have to be friends that I've known a lifetime. I don't think I should feel this pressured to make a selective guestlist for MY wedding, but it's coming out of her checkbook, so I have to bend to what she wants. x_x
It's probably the cold weather. =/ I've been going up and down, too, and so has Lexxipoo. Why, thank you. =3 I honestly don't remember who I nominated/voted for.
Well, overtime is definitely better than hour cuts. My sister works with a girl who had only two shifts in about a month's time. Schwarzenegger also intends to cut education costs, because of course we all know that hasn't been cut enough. (I think they should cut politician pay rather than education spending, but what do I know?) So that kinda messes things up for those of us trying to be an educator in the future. Looks like I won't be staying in California much longer.
Good for you for not looking! Really, there are too many people who try to find something when there's nothing and end up with somebody just to fill a void. Enjoying life as you have it is what's important. Don't worry, I take no offense to it-- I felt the same way before the whole thing with Lex happened. =P
