Trust me, it sucks. If you want to go to a big store like Walmart/Meijer, you have to drive nearly 30 miles out of your way. Same goes for the nearest Gamestop. lol. And the closest Target I can remember is up in Traverse City by the mall.

I think it's nice to visit these places like, once in a while, but to live up here? Forget it. People in Traverse drive insanely. You have to seriously watch yourself at all angles driving by the mall to make sure some idiot isn't going to hit you! lol. I've never seen people drive like that anywhere else. And the people up there are so rude! In Cadillac it's a lot better, but not so much in Traverse, where the rich snobs live. lol. [I'm neither rich, nor completely snobby, lol]

I was from Highland/Milford, but we moved up here in '01. I was from the city, and you push me out into the woods? A strange and new experience. lol. I don't love it or like it, but I've learned to adjust to it.

Hey ALIEN... lol. Did you see my post in Din? It's a few pages back. If you didn't, I replied and said that I'm from Northern Michigan, right between Traverse City and Cadillac. In a TINY little hick town. All we have here is an IGA, Another grocery store [that is mostly used for selling booze, cigarettes, lottery, and their amazing fried chicken], 3 gas stations [two at one end of town, and one at the other], a pizza place, two bars, and a dollar store. Oh and the school of course is right smack in town. lol.

Well my uncle gave them lots of contact, they just didn't like people really. Or they loved people so much they wanted to eat people haha.

It sounds like such a deep thing, that's so cool. So I assume that normally he does whistle with you, he was just camera shy. Is that part of chilling whistling? My uncle had two cockateils, I think thats what they were any ways, but he kept them in a cage for the most part. They weren't real nice, it was so cool how you just had him chilling on your shoulder and finger.
