Yep. Just go to "Forum options" or whatever at the top of that particular forum, and click "Subscribe to this forum".

Makes it a heck of a whole lot easier to keep yourself updated.

I mean subscriptions to the ACTUAL forums.

Like, "You have (5) Subscribed Forums" kind of thing.
