I felt it necessary to cut off my hair to feel good, and feeling good is looking good.
-
It would be conformity if anyone were as sexy as I, m'dear.

Finally you're back. I've missed you, lady.
-
You slightly amplified the entertainment I derive from this ****hole. Please do it again.

I am sorry.
I used to be called:
GoddessOfDeath, I changed my name.

hey, havent talked to you in awhile, how are things?

Well, relatively speaking, it seems like you most often just post a generalized ad hominem attack against the other side, then repeat it in various forms, and never take the time to actually type out a decent defense.
Perhaps I spoke too quickly. I'm not saying that you just run in with an attack and then leave, but most of your posts consist of generalizations and attacks, and then repetition of those attacks.
If you really want me to meticulously dissect the rhetorical content of all your posts in a thread, I will do that, but I'm only even talking about this because you accused me of disliking you along with Lexx. I just don't think you're very good at argument construction, and I certainly don't base my judgment of people based on how skilled they are at argument construction.

Denying their narcissism is not the last thing an egotist would do. Some egotists and narcissists admit to their narcissism, some don't. It isn't a universal thing either way, but it's fairly common for a narcissist to deny that they are narcissistic. (although not necessarily deny that they are egotistical. It's easier for someone to be sure they are right or more intelligent, but harder for them to admit they they love themselves.)
I never criticized you in that particular thread, and I know which one you're talking about. I wasn't even involved at the time. I only criticize you when you blindly call the other side idiotic without actually contributing something to the debate.
Even I pretty often personally attack people and target their insecurities on these forums, but I do it in the midst of a much more contributory post. You usually just tell them they're stupid and leave, which is both annoying and pointless.
-
To be reasonable here, egotistical people don't often admit to their narcissism.
Also, intelligent people can believe stupid things and still be intelligent people. What's your measure of intelligence?
Regardless, no matter how intelligent you are, the way you speak about what you think as absolute truth without regard for even backing it up, most often, with a solid argument, is a major characteristic of egotistical people.
It doesn't make you one, but it certainly implies it.
How about I rephrase. I don't know you, so you may or may not be an egotistical person. I respect you just fine outside of SD. However, in SD, you act in a way that many would interpret as narcissistic and egotistical, and it really isn't contributory or effective.
I don't really dislike you for it, but it can get annoying, and it's the primary reason some people don't really respect you on these forums.
-
Well obviously not all are created equal. The difference between you and I, however, is that I don't assume that I'm in the top majority of "good humans." Some people are intelligent, some people are idiots, but intelligence doesn't determine your worth as a human, because people have no inherent worth.
We're all going to die, so why be a dick?
-
Well, I was referring to the abortion debate.
I don't think negatively of you, I think negatively of your ego.
What happens in SD stays in SD, I honestly am not going to judge you because I perceive the way you treat people in online debates as arrogant.
Regardless, Lexx is just making me very, very angry, as he usually does.
-
Under no circumstance that I can conceive would I ever agree with him.

MOTHER****ING LEXX
YOU SHOULD USE YOUR HIGHLY OFFENSIVE MAGIC TO ANGER HIM TO DEATH

I've fixed Second Life so it doesn't lag nearly as much, but it lags after I use a scripted object or such (i.e the stripper pole)
