Haha sorry, I sometimes act like a psychologist when I'm clearly not. Well you know I always leave my door open (and my mouth shut) if you ever want to talk about something.

The way I see it, with The Sims going online, they are sorta trying to compete with Second Life.
And again, don't worry about it. But if you want to talk about what's going on right now, I'm open ears (we can continue on here, and if it's more private matters, go to PM), I'd like to think I give good advice=). I think you're using "The Sims" as a metaphor for your life. Let's skip the metaphor and dig right in what you really want to talk about.

Eh, don't worry about it. I haven't played video games in while (especially The Sims) so I've been out of the loop of how things are nowadays. The only reason the company haven't incorporated all of these new aspects in their older games is because they were biding their time. They knew if they put a few new concepts every new game that it would bring more customers to the series. I'm just saying be happy with whatever Sims game you're playing right now, and just purchase the next one if it really is worth your money. So what's after an open world? Have they made a Sims game where you can not only manage the city (ala SimCity) as well as your house/family? They could call it SimPolitics or something.

Well when it comes to The Sims, even if there's a new game out, it doesn't mean you HAVE to get it. You're essentially playing the same thing (like Madden). It's the expansion packs that make it somewhat different. If you're content with The Sims that you're playing right now with all of it's EPs, then don't purchase another one. What could a new Sims game entice you so much to buy a new one? New jobs? More designs for your house? Really those are minute things to shell out $50+ for.
Yeah Mario is a bit of an overkill. I think Nintendo learned their lesson with the 3DS that they needed a 1st party game in order to grab a hold of people's attention. And considering New Super Mario Bros, and New Super Mario Bros Wii were popular, they decided to make sequels for both of them. This latest one (with all the gold coins), I was just thinking "Wario would be great for this game).
If I were to create a new Mario Bros game it would feature Mario, Wario, and Donkey Kong as playable characters.
Seriously, what's the point in the friend codes? Is it saving Nintendo some sort of legal issue?

Nintendo should incorporate minor DLCs for some of their game. Let's say you own Mario Kart 7 and you own Mario Kart Wii. Have the Wii recognize the 3DS, and boom get a free course or something. Make an extra incentive for being a hardcore Mario Kart fan.
According to wikipedia Animal Crossing: Jump Out comes out in the fall (in Japan), and sometime during 2013 for Europe. Why show a game at E3 if it won't be worldwide for another 3 years? And Paper Mario: Sticker Star comes out in three months.
Does the WiiU interest you (or any of it's games)?

Wait you still haven't purchased a 3DS game for the system? Wow you have great patience. I would have at least purchased Mario Kart 7, OoT3D, or that Professor Layton game just to burn some of the time (and money) before the game I'm actually anticipating for to come out. I'm patient if I don't have the system in my possession. I don't own a 3DS because there haven't been any MUST HAVE games that peaked my interest. Once a Golden Sun, Fire Emblem, AND a brand new Zelda game have come out for the 3DS will I consider purchasing it. I need more than just one game to interest me on purchasing a new system...the same has been said about the Wii & WiiU. I still haven't purchased a Wii, and probably won't purchase a WiiU until I see some really good games come out. So for the time being, I'm just a hermit of a casual gamer.
It is very futuristic. It's basically an iPad that you can change it's size down to an iPhone or large enough for it to be a flatscreen tv. I got the idea when I was playing with a rubber band that had a bubble film in the middle. I have the idea, I just don't know how to make it possible. Damn my creative brain!

How is the 3DS? I've only played a little bit of it at a GameStop kiosk. Do you see the 3D as just a gimmick that Nintendo is pulling off from the fad Hollywood has restarted?
I hope that in the future a company can make a touch screen that you can make it as small or as big as you want (just like changing the size of the window on your computer by touching the corners). That way you could have this one device essentially be your gaming device, tablet, e-reader, and TV screen, all in one. Change the size of the screen to your own personal preference. That's what they should invent next!

Long time no chat. How have you been? The last time we talked we were chatting about Golden Sun. Have you played it?
